Missing his intended target, Deus continued into the room, and little suprised with the power behind his charge. Hearing the sounds of clanking bones around him, however, he quickly snapped back into reality.
Pausing a moment, he used the faint light from the doorway to make his way that way, hoping to block the doorway a little. Turning, he growled low in his throat, lashing out with his powerful hands at the nearest skeletal body. ------------ Initiative: 15 Attack roll: 16 Damage: 10 + 5 (atk) +10 (Super Strength) + 10 (Massive Damage)
Tia, pressured into a move finally, swung only to find her sword come up short of its target and bite nothing but air. Frightened by the visage of the grinning skull, Tia had hesitated long enought to fail to hit the creature.
After getting bitchslapped by the skeletal reinforcements, Pol backed up, trying to distance himself a bit while staying as a shield for Kiley. However, at no point did his chanting stop, instead, as the first skeleton crumbled, he refocused his divine wrath upon the new threats. To do so more effectively, Pol drew another sutra, and, with one in each hand he hurled them at the skeletal horrors. As the sutra's sped along through the air, they began to disintigrate, trailing sparkles of divine light in thier wake before exploding upon contact with the skeletal foes. One sutra missed it's target, but the other landed dead on and disentigrated the undead abomination in a flash of holy blue light.
Kraln, his thick, metal Bence stick in hand, swung with the precision of a soldier trained in the blunt weapon's use. He had used it before to subdue the Invagnion Riots five years ago. In that day, his aid had save three detachments of Skirmishers. Now it would save one group of Supplicants. The metal rod came down upon the skeleton, splintering the bones under the weight of the weapon. Kraln smiled wide and spoke, "May the Willow have mercy upon you, Lost One."
The skeleton is no match for the powerful Arcozian hands, and it falls to dust beneath the devastating blow.
Mi'ia watched the bence stick for a moment and relized that there was something wrong. She looked around and saw that there were ghosts clothed in the bones of past dead. She snarled for a moment, and launched into the room that they are coming out of, trying to hit any of them on her way. He momentum continued past her target, however. She couldn't adjust to catch the skeleton in the manner she intened.
Kiley screamed when Pol was attacked by the skeleton. She steped back, her mind racing as she tried to think what to do. She tried clearing her head and focusing her mind on the feeling she had the last time. Oh Willow, please help me again. Please let it happen again. Please, let me help. Let me help fight. I want to protect them. Please, Willow, please. She looked up again still praying in her mind. As if an answer to her prayers Kiley feels the power flow through her like it had before. She looks at the the skeletons with a anger in her eyes instead of the fear from last time. "Leave him ALONE!" she shouts at them throwing out her hand as it and her eyes beginng glowing white. A white shot erupts from her palm and flies towards one of the skeletons. Just as suddenly as before, the blur of bright blue energy shuddered forth and into the long forgotten corpes, only to fill it and devour it from within. A gasp issues from the vanishing skeleton, very similar to a breath exhaled by one who has held it too long.
Two more skeletons managed past the preoccupied Deus and into the fray with the other Supplicants. Almost as a united effort, all the skeletons struck at the same time. However, only the ones who faced against Tia and Lylith could inflict damage. Though the corpses hissed and whistled, the fight was far from finished.

======= OOC: Round three up and coming. Please remember you Initiative rolls and attack rolls. 2d6 each, please.
Noticing that this wasn't a small group, but a horde of skeletons, Pol threw caution to the wind and flipped out more talismans from his belt pouches, taking 3 in one hand and 2 in another (talisman count 43), he resumed chanting, trying to hault as many of the undead monstrosities as he can simultaneously ((target pmv and range pmv for the skill allows him to affect up to 5 at 10 m distance (30 ft) ))
As he chanted and channeled his power to the glowing talismans, Pol thought to himself, it's a very good thing the being that shares my body isnt manifesting...if it were, well...it would probably wind up going bezerk once more...but what would happen if the skeletons were gone? what would it attack? I can't let this beast take over if it awakens...not this time...not now...
Kiley takes deeps beaths in slight shock, still trying to get use to the feeling of her power. She steps back growing more fightened of skeletons. "There are so many of them." she cries out loud. "Pol what do we do?" She looks at everyone fighting. Oh Willow! How many are there? Can we do this?
Hearing Kiley's cry, Deus snapped out of his battle mode, looking around a little in slight confusion. Taking but a moment to assess the situation, he noted that he could not see a thing. And listening did not help him much. But... perhaps the others would not be quite as disadvantaged...
Thinking over the party furiously, his eyes gleamed as he recalled the night in the woods. He pushed forward, more fully covering the doorway, and called out over his shoulder and into the hallway. "Mi'ia, come into here, I'll cover you! Can you tell us how many we face?" ---- Deus is going to attempt to cover Mi'ia, should she choose to follow his instructions. He will be attempting to jump in front of any attacks directed at her and thus keeping her safe. He will be sacrificing his action this turn to do this, if it is needed.
At the end of the turn, if he is able (say, she does not follow his instructions, or the cover does not take an action), he will take his attack on the nearest skeleton. If he gets a chance, he will also counter attack, using his shield to re-direct attacks back at the attacker.
Initiative: 7+5= 12 Normal attack, with hands: 7+5=12 Damage: 10 + 5 (atk) +10 (Super Strength) + 10 (Massive Damage) Counter attack, with shield: 7+5=12 Counter damage: Equal to attackers attack.
mi'ia looks over at dues real quick to get feel for where he is. she looks back at the skeletons in the room and asses how many are in the room. seeing as there are only two, she calls out "theres only two in here." she lashes out at the nearest one, trying to catch the nearest monster with her claws. bringing down over her head into the nearest one as she jumps up to advoid the attacks that the skeltons do.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."

Tia held her sword as if to warn the approaching skeletons back. The one she attacked previously tried to move closer, and so she was forced to strike. Her terror pushed aside, Tia brought the blade down upon the forehead of the abomination. However, without muscle and flesh to cause pain and ooze blood, the skeleton simply continued to mock her. Her blade angled downwards and she found herself hard pressed to maintain her stance.

Kraln, his fury focused and directed by Pol's recent triumph, brought the Bence stick into the chest of the skeleton, causing it to explode in ancient powder and dried marrow. The warrior stood full and erect after his strike, his voice changing to a song of prayer, Shiraasu massu hara'e he.[/i] He glowed for a brief moment, and all around him could feel the prescence of the Willow here. It seemed something had transpired, something that these corpses needed most. Redemption.

======= OOC: Sorry about the delays. Everyone's been so busy otherwise. Lets get back into it, everyone! Fight's over, so what's everyone doing?
Kiley watches in awe as the dust settles. "Where, where did they go?" she asks as she looks around for the attacking skeletons. "Are they all gone. Did we defeat them all?" She looks around some more as the fear slowly subsides in her. "Is every one all right? Did any one get hurt?"
Pol panted a bit before shaking his head and looking over to Kiley, " nothing a little rest won't fix....as for where they went? I would guess the afterlife...most skeletons and undead are around because they have been cursed and must attain some form of redemption...."
As he spoke, Pol let out a mental sigh of relief, it hasn't stirred....good...maybe he only comes about in danger I can't handle? that would certainly be convenient....or at least nice...still, I shouldn't let down my guard....
mi'ia looks around at the dust as it falls down and settles. seeing as there is no more skelitons anywhere she tells the others, "I think that we should go this way." she motions to where she saw the ghost earlier. "This might be our best option." she turns toward the hall where she saw the ghost.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."
Kraln turned and looked to Lylith. "Why? What makes you certain something is that way, Supplicant. There are many places for a spirit to hid in ruins so large as these." Kraln's face was neither malicious nor benign. It was the neutral expression of a leader awaiting an answer.
As Pol looked from Mi'ia to Kraln, he grabbed his head suddenly. After a few moments of tight-eyed wincing, he shook his head and looked around. perhaps convinient was a poor choice of words...lucky would be more suitable.....lucky for me....in any case...perhaps I should try to extend my senses once more...it's worth a shot...
After a few deep breaths to center himself, Pol focuses on his mental eye, trying to see the ghost through it's spiritual essence...
---------------------------- rolled a 5, spiritual sight attribute total is a 9 (8 spirit, 1 rank)
mi'ia cocks her haed at kraln and says, "I have already told you why. I had said it as we were entering the place. Here is an nihistian here." She looked to the hall again and then back to Kraln. "So then are we going to fallow it or are we going to ignore it. We seem not likely to find our way if we ignore it though."
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."
Kiley walks up to Mi'ia and Kraln. "Ummm, excuse me," she says a little timidly, hoping they won't jump on her as it seems they are about to jump on each other. "Before we opened that door," she points to the room the skeletons came out of, "I asked the pendulem which direction we should try, it pointed in this direction." She turns and points in the direction the cyrstal had pulled, the way Mi'ia suggested. "It was a very strong pull. Something is there, I... I heard a voice, it was calling for help." she says quietly. She looks at her clenched fist, the crystal still held tightly there. It had pulled so hard, she was still afraid to let go of it, though her palm was begining to hurt from gripping it so hard.
Tia sheathed her sword and picked Oracillion back up. Dusting off her armor, the Mowershe-born woman readied herself for movement, saying simply, "Well, wherever we go next I hope we go soon. This place creeps me out." Almost as if to punctuate her words, a shudder danced down her spine and caused her to jerk momentarily.
Kraln nodded to Lylith and said appologetically, "True. I had forgotten. Sorry about that. The Calaran looked at Kiley and raised an eyebrow. "Calling for help? Than we should hurry." With that, the Knight took the point and continued on into the center of the ruin's first floor, his Bence stick still at the ready.
================ OOC: I know many of the concepts I speak of aren't going to be fully grasped by all of you, as it is my own fictitious world and whatnot. Just to let you know, a Bence stick is a length of dense wood with a solid metal core. It's similar to a night stick, or billy club, used by police officers. It would look something like this. Chances are, knowing Citadel's expansion into the rest of the world, everyone has seen them time and time again. However, everyone's reaction to them would be different. Expect PMs on this weapon and other things. If you have questions, please ask. I don't want anyone unsure of what's going on.

As his spiritual sight extended, Pol spoke out to the others, " I can see it...."
He pulled out yet another sutra. He then pointed with his free hand, in the same direction that Kiley and Mi'ia had indicated, " it's this way....and if help is what it needs, then help is what it will get"
you can feel it too, can't you? just remember spirit....your sharing my body, and although you can torment me, it's still my body.
mi'ia going from looking a kraln to looking at pol as they spoke spotted the sutra. her grandmother had used them. she would get hiptmatized by them then too.
"pol please do not use that. i have a problem conitraiting around them. and i do not think that it will like those very much." she eyed the sutra to get her point across. it wasnt her fault that she didnt make it to those lessons as a cub.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."
Pol nodded to Mi'ia, " don't worry, I won't be activating it unless the spirit proves hostile....for now it's simply a precaution...."
fastest way to end a battle with the undead is through exorcism...I'm just hoping that it doesn't have to come to that, it's painful for the spirit because it leaves whatever is holding them to the world left undone...
Kraln gave the gathering quiet amongst his Supplicants a stern glare. He peered into the darkness before them and declared in a commanding voice, "We move." Without hesitation he moved past two of the doors and throught the open archway into a larger, forum like area. Obviously an entertainment chamber of some kind, there was an identical archway opposite the Supplicants as well as a wide alcove to the north and a set of double doors to the south. "Well," he looked at his mystical supplicants. "Where to now?"
================= OOC: Anyone who is going to check for spirits, make a roll part of your next post please. Hopefull, I haven't lost all of you. T.T
