So... the question is whether Wizards will wow us with a throwback set, or piss me off with sometype of neo-retro BS crap set that used old card names to pique our interests?

I can safely say that I've been more or less happy about what they did with Time Spiral and Planar Chaos so this will hopefully continue in the same fashion.

It's OK Beast, I would just like to point out that there also happens to be a B/W pre-con. Eun remembers the last time i got my hands on one of those (religion).

Yes, Raphael, I do recall that Science triumphed over Religion, finally ending an age old fight in the space of a few hours and a couple thousand in-jokes. First, however... SPOILER SEASON IS OFFICIALLY OPENED! Approximate Translations... R/U: Fateignition U/B: Suspended Verdict W/B: Rebel Union R/G: Future Shock Look! More stuuf! I want a Lynessa Zephyr anything!! Deck Sleeves: Deck Boxes: Top Loader Books: And, finally, our first little taste of the future... this goes out to sanctioned shops for to give to the people buying product... Heads up, Arte and AC... Artemi Edit: Pictures causing horizontal scroll bar on 1024x768 resolution. Told to you to fix it...

*mouth drops at Sprout Swarm*
I'm... I'm not sure which is better about that card; the fact that it is really pretty good, or confirmation about my suspicions that the Guild abilities were coming back...
Also, Eun? Do you want to break those pictures up? Or am I going to have to mod your post?

OMG... I heart that card!
Convoke and Buyback on the same spell? Surely they should have known the repercussions....
By the way... doubling season lets you pay off the Convoke perpetually. Now just find a way to continuously produce 3G mana... which should be doable.

Rough Translations: Summoner's Pact0 Instant Summoner's Pact is green. Search your library for a green creature card, reveal it and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library. At the beginning of your next upkeep, pay 2GG. If you don't, you lose the game. Mist of Rage 1R Sorcery Buyback Creatures you control get +1/+0 until end of turn. Storm. Maelstrom Djinn 7U Creature - Djinn Flying. Morph 2U When Maelstrom Djinn is turned face-up, put two time counters on it and it gains Vanishing . 5/6 Imperiosaur2GG Creature - Lizard You may only spend mana from basic lands to play Imperiosaur. 5/5 "An ancient force of unbelievable power dominates the valley. I grieve for its inhabitants, but I rejoice for the earth." -Olanti, druidess of MuragandaSo, how does everyone like that Future Timeshifting? I do sense a six symbol timeshift....

Actually, I kinda like that new frame. It looks alot like that one you posted earlier, actually... It IS a rather dramatic change, though. I'm not sure if I entirely like it. Either way, it looks almost like this block is being used as a test bed for new ideas. Maybe 10th will have new frames, along with black boarders!

You know, this makes me wonder why this hasn't been done before? It seems like a simple concept... Also, I'm digging the frames. But, really, I'm liking anything that isn't the 8th Ed ones.

Dude, white could already stop big damage from coming through, with things like Circle of Protection. Getting straight up Protection is not too strange a leap... I don't know about this one. The templating seems REALLY wonky. Why not just make it using Imprint or something? "Enchantment. Remove a Instant in a graveyard from the game. When you play a Sorcery, you may play the Imprinted Instant for free until end of turn. Imprint a new Instant." It really seems like they are just going for a gimmick with this one. This one, on the other hand, seems rather neat. And I rather like the art. Also, did you notice the blue and black timeshifts have white fonts, while the white has black? They're paying attention!

Pay Attention, Please!!Lesson One: Card Types. Artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery, and tribal? Well, let's just hope this isn't a fad or something and that these will be around for a while. Lesson Two: Vanilla Extract. HOT!!! There will be five of these, at least. This is the best of them... 3cc for 3/3.... Lesson Three: Epic Levels. Grandeur - Discard another card named ~: Effect of badass proportions. Questions?! More to come as its found.
