Tribal is a weird supertype; as far as I can tell, it looks the same way that they handled 'Snow'. But, it is being credited as a full type in that 'Goyf.

So, this means one of two things. Either Tribal and Planeswalker will be an entirely NEW type of card (like Sorcery's or Instants. This does not seem likely in the LEAST, especially as I've already seen that on Enchantment...), or Snow counts for the Tarmogoyf. Which also seems wrong.

Can we get some rules lawyering here?

Well, allow me to share some stuff. Perhaps more colored Artifacts? How about a Land Creature? What about an Enchantment Creature? Or maybe a Rebel enchantment.

Easy. The Blackblade takes it's power from swamps. Dakkon needed to shorten his text box from "The *s below equal the number of lands you control that aren't swamps." Back then, it would've pushed his text box over the max!

Somehow, I highly doubt that is the case. Just looking at the picture, they could have pretty easily added a couple more words. Besides, the flavore text backs me up on this; the Blackblade used to pull from from all colors of magic. In fact, the thing used to be powered by ALL lands, not just Basic ones. Something has happened to the thing, and it has been corrupted by it.

Of course, he WAS cursed to walk the line between the living and the dead, so... Maybe that cursed weighed heavily on his soul...

At first, I thought maybe Jeska, but that outfit doesn't look anything like hers, nor does she have Jeska's facial tatoos.

So... I have no idea. Though, I'm loving the hair. Like, alot. And the eyes...

This, however, goes a long way in clearing up the Blackblade question.
