1. Is everyone reading the game posts, or just skimming them? Uhm... yes. I'm sorry. I will stop this bad habit. Too much time spent on ACTD where I can get away with that. That, however, is changing. After all, when a dozen people respond to the same stimulus, it gets across easier when skimming.... Having re-read the posts, not particularly. I enjoy the almost hinting way the posts are worked. They leave you something to do with your mind instead of outright saying "Rargh, you've been attacked by flying bullets!" Only if you happen to be skimming. Bad, eun. Bad, bad eun. Heh. That's a closely guarded secret. I'm as jealous about my PCs/NPCs as most GMs are about their plotlines. That, and the way a character develops is all about how you go about responding to things you don't want to happen to your little puppet... I mean character. The joke. Evidently there was one. I know I put it in there, I just can't think where I would do it. What? You wanted to know about questions. Drat.... No, in particular I can't think of anything else you might need to know. I rather don't mind you two calling yourself Big Brother. In fact, I think it kind of fits the style you are using. I also must admit that you two are doing a fine job at joint-GMing, a normally difficult task to accomplish. Textbook, gentlemen. Keep it up.

1. Is everyone reading the game posts, or just skimming them? 2. Are the posts too long? To short? To wordy? 3. Is it easy to understand what BB is saying? Is it difficult? Why? 4. Do you have any specific goals you would like to accomplish with this game / your character? 5. Is there anything I missed? Any concerns questions or comments that are relevant that I glanced over? I'm basically looking for feedback from the players and would absolutely treasure detailed responses. 1.I'm reading all of the game posts. You guys are putting enough glorious wording in there that it would be a crime not to. I could no more skim these posts than I could skim one of my favorite novels. 2.The posts are fine. If it's "too long" that just means alot happened and you wanted to get it all accross to us. If it's "too short" that simply means there was less to explain at that particular event. So far I don't feel you guys have used too much or too little in regards to the game posts. 3.It's easy to understand what BB is saying 92% of the time. Ofcourse you can't expect 100% I haven't been able to always understand you 2 anyways lol. So long as you keep it cleared and detailed, as you have, I personally will continue to understand what's going on. 4.no specific goals really. Mostly I want to see how this message board rpg pans out, I want to see the continued evolution and growth of the MA universe and I'd really like to see just what kind of "man" Brian Helgate is. 5.I have no further coments, questions, or concerns. However if anything comes to mind I will be sure to PM you about it and if it needs to be formaly addressed I will post about it at your discretion.

Public Service Announcement: Antaeus has been having interweb trouble. He will thus have trouble getting on consistently for a little while.
The game will continue as normal. He will still be making Xi'ku posts, as he thinks he should still be able get on the minimum couple times a week, but I will be making all the Main Game Posts until this resolves. Thanks, Ant. *rolls eyes*
If you have any questions, both about this and/or anything you need cleared up, contact me by chat or PM, or call Ant by tele. I'll try to clear anything up you may need.
PLEASE contact us if you have any questions; we can't help if we don't know you have trouble. In fact, we may have secret suspicions that you are planning and conspiring against us if you do not. We ARE Big Brother, after all. *laugh*

Celest, Lylie, question: Your characters seem to be conversing. Should I post the next Main Game Post? I don't mind at all if you two want to chat, but if you're not up for it then I can go on.

I feel the need to remind everyone of this post. While I personally did not belive that 'tearing through flesh' is a worthy interpretation of 6 damage, I also must admit that she was just hit for over a fifth of her total HP. But comparing that to Xi'ku...who has more then double her HP, I can see how the reaction is justified. Combat is going to test all our collective creative abilities and so far I'm liking what I see. Good job folks. Keep it up.

Ok, I'm asking this becuz Ant suggested it.
What is every ones deffinition of a Shoulder Rush?
Does it stop as some as contact is made or does it carry through pushing both person forward as far as momentum will allow?
In essecense I am asking that when Summer shoulder rushes Xi'ku will that both end up in the hallway or will Xi'ku end up in the hallway and Summer infront of the baricade.

As of current, the Shortsword version of the Mission Accepted rules does not have any designated special actions, such as Shoulder Rushing and Disarming. Meaning, anything you want to do is up to one of three things: A) a simple description of your actions, B) A description of your actions that requires a stat or skill check, or C) A description of your actions that uses Ap, and may or may not have a stat or skill check. Any of those three might also have attack rolls if you were trying to use them against an opponent.
So, really, it would depend on what exactly you were trying to do. From there, BB would decide how difficult it might or might not be. If you would be so kind as to describe exactly what you have in mind, we can figure out if it is difficult enough to use an Ap or require a check.
Normally, unless you are trying to do more then one major thing in a "turn" or you are trying to do something really over the top, Ap will really not be required. Checks can be another matter, however.

Three things.
1. Brian Helgate is now a GMPC under the control of Big Brother until such time as Cross comes back.
2. Anyone know if the board has a 'grid' function? One of the thousand drying pole's had a function like that and it would GREATLY aid in combat mapping. Outside of that, its MS-paint for me.
3. My ultimate goal is to unlock the first thread and post in it so that my glorious name is the final post in all the Legion sub-boards. XD

Sorry, dude, nothing I know of. I'll poke around a little online and see if I can find anything. *shrug* 3. Nevahs!

BB note: Critical Hits in Shortsword.
On a natural roll of 20 to hit when attacking or defending, the die is rolled again and the sum of all values is used.
Example: Tanque attaks Vankrist and Vankrist rolls a 20 to defend. Corsair then rolls the d20 again and adds that to his total defense roll. If on that second roll you would roll another 20, you would repeat the process untill a final value is achieved.
Questions?

A few things.
First, Antaeus' interweb is down again, so don't send him anything expecting results. I just found out about this, so... yeah.
Eun, your AP request is... Accepted! Sorry about not getting back to you sooner; I thought that Ant had gotten to you, and apparently he did not.
Celest...? Waiting for you...

Sorry I haven't had much time. Planned on doing it during the staff meeting, but yeah, you know how that turned out Artemi.
Also I'm trying to recall what I rolled for my defense rolls. I know i failed dogding but i can't remember the actual numbers (I stopped having the rolls set to my email cuz it was seriously taking up my space.) I set them to Ant and I also told Ant what they were over Yahoo. I archieve my yahoo conversations, but...
I need to be on the computer they are archieved on... and that particular computer is in Texas.
I think one was a nine.
I'll get to it ASAP.

Thats ok; things happen. If it looks like things will drag out too much longer, feel free to re-roll them. You can use the dice roller to send the info to just me, I belive, if you want; I don't think you HAVE to send the info to yourself.
I may see Ant later today; if so, I'll see if he has the info on his comp. I'll get back to you on that later.

I will be posting the next game post at or around midnight Monday, April 9th.
You have until then to get your actions in Eun, or we will be forced to continue on without.
That is all.
