like i put up five words and you come up with a poem for it. ill look up some more to see what i come up with. but its still you coming up and creating the poetry, the games are just a tool to be used to jump start your imagination.

It should be noted, as I have just discovered, that my vote should actually be in the "Maybe" category. I thought that I voted maybe, but apparently I clicked the wrong one.
I can only assume that this means I'm the vote in the "No" category, so I guess you should all just ignore that one. If somebody else voted no, then speak up and we'll start ignoring a vote in the "Yes" category.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Why not play word games? If someone doesn't like them, they don't have to join in. They can start another type of fun thang if'n they want.

I think we should keep the poetry games.

That's my idea too, but I'd also like to see the others on the board who write poetry to get involved. Better if they post comments on someone else's work as well. It doesn't need to be an exhaustive critique, but something that you like about the work and something you don't like would be helpful for a poet looking for some assistance with unworked parts of their art.

Okay, so I can't seem to vote No matter, I would vote Yes anyway. As long as we don't make it like a competition, I can't compete with the poetic genius that is Joe/Gryphonpoet ;D
