"If I may stop at my room quickly to bring a few things I will be ready. We should be on our way as soon as possible." Fenella looks out the window again.
"How far is your home from here, Sir Evan? I do hope you didn't have to travel far for the meeting. Perhaps the Society might have some weapons you may borrow if you think that would save us the time."

After Fenella had asked to return to her room, Talinia simply said, "Of course. I will meet you at the temple gate." The Flemon then gathered her bag and sword. Then she slowly exited the room, heading for the door leading to the outside garden, and eventually the gate to the slowly dying outside world. So beautiful, a shame that a place so peaceful faces destruction. As the Flemon Princess reached the gate, she rested her back against the stone, waiting for her comrades to emerge.
Fenella walked quickly to her room. She didn't require much. She knew that should she and her companions have any great need of anything, all they needed to do was find a Temple and Fenella, being a young priestess, should be able to get if for them. Yet she knew that it was also a good idea to be prepared, and the things she had in mind to bring certainly would be no great weight to bear.
Fenella's room at first glace was quite plain, as most rooms were belonging to the young priesthood. It was a lesson in humbleness. The small rooms contained little furniture. A small cot with a woven rush mattress served as bed. Next to it was a small circular table. Across from the bed was a dresser with a wash basin and water pitcher. There was a window and hooks on the walls for hanging cloaks and other useful things. The bed had a gray wool blanket and a pillow, but that was all the room had contained when she arrived.
When joining the Society, one gave up most things of value, so the was little to decorate with. Yet Fenella had found ways to make the place her own. Hanging from the window were bundles of drying herbs, some had small flowers that added a bit of color. Shiny bits of rock and crystal that she found along the river sat on the window still and caught the morning light. The hook over the bed had a rather large bunch of lavender with its delicate purple flowers drying there.
When she arrived at the Society she had been given a Healer's Kit, and she used the items in it to advantage. The plain shoulder bag that contained the kit was hanging next to the dresser. She had collected bits of colored thread and cloth and decorated the gray bag with a sewn bouquet of flowers. The small pewter cup she had filled with water and a bunch of wildflowers. That was sitting on the table. Along with a small, but beautiful dagger in a birch bark sheath. The dagger had been a reward for her hard studies. Something she had earned. It had a silver handle with small round moonstone at the end. She treasured it greatly. Healers’ kits came with a small knife. It was meant to be used to cut plants and useful herbs and to cut infected or poisoned wounds for proper healing.
Fenella took a simple belt from her dresser and fitted it around her slim waist. She attached the dragger to it and a small coin purse which she had kept a small amount of money she had earned for helping villagers. Most she had given to the Society but she was allowed to keep some for when traveling. She took down her Healer’s Bag and placed in it the pewter cup, minus the water and flowers, plus the rest of the items included in a Healer’s Kit, gauze, strips of cloth, needle and strong thread; and a small piece of flint She took dried herbs from the bundles hanging from the wall and window and wrapped them in thin gauze to keep them separated. Placing the bag over her shoulder she walked to the corner of the room behind the door. There, leaning up against the wall, was the one thing she had brought with her to The Society, a staff made from dark black walnut wood. It had been a gift from the Elven village she had grown up in. The Wood Elves there had carved a delicate moon flower vine winding it’s was up the staff. They also had added small inlays of white Holly wood for the flowers. It was a thing of beauty. Taking her staff in hand she left her room and headed for the temple gate.
When Trialia saw Fenella approach the gates, she simply said, "We cannot wait for the Eagleman much longer if we wish to have a chance of getting there before the Dark Elves." The Flemon then leaned back on the gate and began to tap her foot impatiently, How long does it take him to gather his necessary supplies?
Fenella nodds at Trialia and puts her hood up and stands in the shadow of the gate. Her pale skin burned easily so she often tried to stay out of the sun.

Out of no where comes a loud, echoing voice shouts,"I'M HERE! WAIT! I'M HERE!" The flemon comes charging up the path. Carrying a large backpack, probably filled with supplies. Alongside him was a sturdy battle horse of some sort. As he becomes closer he says,"okay I'm here now, I traveled to Woodroot.
With the group assembled, Talinia simply said, "Then let's be off." The warrior took the lead and led the party from the Stoneroot home of the Society, bound for the land to the west.
(Time jump about two days)
The party is now in Woodroot, not far from their destination. The sun has set, and the forest is oddly quiet. Talinia has just gotten a fire going, and is starting to make some kind of a meal. Suddenly, Fenella barely hears a call from inside the forest depths, "Help me." The call is weak, the accent is Human, and sounds to her like a child, the sound is coming from the north.
Fenella had been sitting quietly against a tree, listening. She had her eyes closed to focus her ears. It's too quiet. It's been to quiet. Where did the birds go. Where are the crickets, the frogs... the wind. I should have heard a night bird by now. The fire crackled loudly in all the silence.
The cry was quiet. Fenella would have missed it if she had not been closely listening to the silence. She opened her eyes slowly. At first, to make sure she hadn't dosed and been dreaming. She lowers her hood and looks to Ayden sitting on her shoulder, to see the sprite's reaction to the noise. A nod gives her the answer she needs. It is good to be so attuned with one's murith. She stands and turns to her companions.
Fenella nods and looks north. "It's coming from the north. We must be very careful though." She pauses for a moment. "It sounds like a human child." The tone of her voice was a warning one.
She picks up she staff and looks at Ayden sitting on her shoulder. "Fly ahead," she says quietly. "Be careful, and make sure to stay out of sight. Come back as soon as you find something. " With a nodd the small sprit flies of north, dimly glowing, like a firefly.
After a few moments in the darkness, Ayden spotted two small human forms, both appeared to be very badly injured, one was moving toward the now very faint glow of the fire about thirty feet away. It was very clear to the Moon spirit that these children are in desperate need of medicine.
(OOC:) To clear this up, Ayden can see a trail of blood coming from the direction that the party's destination is, part of the trail ends at the form of the human that is not moving, while part of it turns toward the party, directly behind the child. In short, both children are bleeding badly.
Just as Ayden comes back Fenella looks up and sees a child moving toward them in the wood. With the moon sprite following her, giving the report Fenella runs to the first child.
"Lady Talinia, please help me get this one to the fire. They're badly hurt. Evan follow Ayden! There's another one only a bit away that looks unconscious! Be careful, I have no idea what happened to them!"
Fenella stops running as soon as she gets close to the child.
"Don't be afraid," she says calmly, holding out her hand. "I'm a healer. I will help you."
The sound of Talinia's running feet could be heard behind Fenella as she reached the child.
Fenella can see one ugly slash from what looks to her like a sword of some kind. The child appears to be around seven years old. He simply gasps, "Th.... they.... burned.... the.... town." The boy is still conscious seconds later when Talinia arrives to help carry the child to the light of the fire.
Fenella turns follows Talina back to the fire and quickly begins to work. She puts water in the pewter cup and sets it by the fire to warm. Then she mixes a paste of dried and fresh herbs known for their numbing and antiseptic properties. She begins cleaning the wounds with the warm water and a piece of guaze, and applying some of the paste to the wounds. She looks up at Talina.
"You might want to help Evan. There could be someone following these children. Their village was attacked." She looks back down at her work before quickly adding, "Oh and if you know what a dock leaf looks like, keep an eye out for some."
Trialia started to walk back to help her Eagleman companion when he appeared from the brush carrying the other child. "I know what a dock leaf looks like." The Flemon said simply, "I will return with some." The young woman walked into the forest. Seconds later, the first child looked Fenella in the eyes. This child is the older of the two, now with the light of the fire around you, the party can see that the boys are brothers.
The older boy whispered so softly that Fenella could barely hear him, "Dark elves. We were out here with our father to hunt and they attacked us. My brother and I were beaten, and our father was killed. After our father was dead, they walked away toward Golansa." After this, the child relaxed, but kept his eyes fixed and alert.
Moments later, Trialia returned with more then enough dock leaves. She handed them to Fenella and took a defensive stance by the fire, her hand rested on her sword hilt as she stared into the blackness.
Fenella looks up at Ayden as the sprite returns to her shoulder. "Sorry friend, but there is little time for rest now. I need to keep watch from above. I don't want anything catching us off guard". The little sprite pouts for a second before flying off.
Fenella continues working on the two children. Using the large dock leaves as bandages she holds them in place with gauze. She then warms more water and seeps some dried herbs and tree bark in the cup before giving each child a few sips of the brew. She stands and wipes her brow as the two children fall into a deep sleep. "There, they are out of danger. Now I just needs to help the process along."
She takes a few steps back away from the children. She pauses for a moment and closes her eyes to focus and steady her breathing. She raises her staff high and twirls it once over her head. Her eyes glow slightly as she opens then and begins she speak.
"I call upon the full moon light Share your power, lend thy might Heal the wounds and ease the pain By your grace all health will gain"
The head of her staff starts glowing light as she brings it down and sweeps it in a arc over the to children, showering them in glowing bits of white light. She then taps her staff once on the ground and bows she head as the glowing lights fade. She sighs and places her hood up on her head.
As Ayden flew over the trees in the forest, he spots several figures mounted on horseback. There is around six of them, each appeared to be wearing chain armor with the royal crest of a human kingdom nearby. The moonsprite could barely hear the men whisper, "I swear I see a glow in the trees, it looks like a campfire."
"Alright, alright you jumpy hoolah of a man, let's go take a look."
As the men start to move closer to the camp, Fenella and Evan could both hear the pounding of horses' hoofs. The children were calming down, however as they heard the sound of the horses' approach, they both stared in the direction of the sound, watching nervously. Across the small clearing, Trialia kept her hand on her sword and simply waited for whatever was going to happen to happen.
Ayden returns to Fenella's shoulder and informs her of who approaches. She smiles and lowers her hood as she walks over to the two children. She bends down to them and speaks softly, "Fear not little ones, I feel these may be friends to you."
She then stands straight and takes a few steps toward the sounds stopping near the edge of their camp. She speaks loud and clear to make sure they will hear her.
"If you planed on sneaking up on us," she pauses for a slight second, smiling, "your horses gave you away. Please come and make your selves known, for we are but travelers in this land."
