Pol shrugs, " I was thinking more along the lines of a mundane focusing crystal. They aren't inherently magical, but they give the user something to focus their will on. They help with concentration, and that can be a key to a powerful spell."

Kiley looked down and blushed. A focusing crystal? I can't believe how stupid I am. I should have known. This was a bad idea. She stays silent for a moment.
"Oh, yes, focusing crystal ofcourse, if you think that will help. Though I don't know any actual spells yet. I didn't get much actual training done. All the elders were very interested in my gift. I got a lot of practice in it so they could study it. They said it is a great gift and that it is connnected to my devotion."
"I was actually very surprised that they sent me on this trip. I'm still a Supplicant, afterall. They said this trip will help me learn more about myself and help me decide on the next steps on my Path for Willow."

Pol nodded. He didn't notice her blush, what with being blind and all. He then said, " Well, whatever path you choose is bound to be the right one for you. I've personally started down the scholarly path. It can be difficult to study scrolls, but most rewarding. "
Pol let silence drift in for a few moments, then continued, " Other than being poked and prodded for information about your power, how have things been for you?"
