-=- Spirits of Mana: The Holy Sword -=-
-=- The Story -=-
Once, when the world was yet trapped in darkness,
the goddess of Mana felled 8 incarnations of disaster
that guided the world to destruction, the God-Beasts,
with the Sword of Mana, and sealed them in 8 stones.
And, as the darkness left, the world was created.
The goddess of Mana turned herself into a tree, and fell asleep.
Many years passed...
Due to the actions of some who plot
to unleash the God-Beasts from the stones,
obtain power surpassing even that of the gods,
and to make the world their own, conflict breaks out
heralding the end of peace...
Mana is rapidly disappearing from the earth.
Even the Mana Tree has begun to wither...

AUTHOR NOTE FROM NOW ON
This RPG is made for those who have some experience with Seiken Densetsu 3. Therefore, if you are interested, yet you have never played the game before... well, the first option is for you to go look for it. The second option is to look at the next paragraph.
There is an entity called the Mana Goddess who, thousands of years ago, saved the world from eight incarnations of disaster, the God-Beasts, and they were sealed into large, horn-shaped crystals called the Mana Stones. Afterwards, she became the Mana Tree and fell asleep.
Nowadays, there are six main factions in power: Forcena, home to the Knights of Gold, Altena, lair of the Queen of Reason and her magician army, the Beast Kingdom, created by a beastman who was intent in having the rest of his people living safe lives, Wendel, who has been trying to keep peace amongst the others, Navarre, a band of thieves that used to steal from the rich to give to the poor, and Rolante, an impenetrable fortress that is known as the Castle That Never Fell. Three of these factions are trying to unleash the power contained in the Mana Stones, and so take over the world.
This RPG will need a minimum of 3 characters with different classes (and preferrably different races), but a maximum of 6.

-=- Classes -=-
- Fighter: A mercenary, squire, or merely a title-less warrior, these are specialists in the use of swords of various kinds.
- Grappler: A hand to hand warrior, they are strong and are able to attack multiple enemies at once.
- Thief: Stealing from the rich, and giving it to themselves, these knife-wielders are some of the fastest people you’d see.
- Magician: Controlling the power of the elements from their staffs, they can easily defeat enemies a weapon cannot.
- Cleric: Servant of the Mana Goddess, they aid their comrades through the use of healing magic.
- Cavalier/Amazon: Wielding a lance, these horseless warriors are very strong and agile.

-=- Races -=-
Humans: Your average, run-of-the-mill people. Can be of any class.
Beastmen: Humans during the day, wolves during the night; these are the beastmen. Usually covered with fur, even when normal, and their faces show their animalistic traits as well. Half-beastmen are just the same, only they’re more humanish.
Sprites: Special creatures naturally attuned to the Mana Spirits. While they age slower than most humans (to the point where, in their teens, they still look like children), they’re also less stronger than them.
