Favorite Roleplaying Character (pencil and paper)

What is everyone's favorite character they played in a role playing game. Give a name, a description of the character (personality and looks), and why they are your favorite.

My personal favorite character I've played in a RPG is Eliath Crownguard.

He was a pally with a good heart and a strong spirit. Unfortunately he had a small problem where he liked to over exaggerate about every encounter he has had in his lifetime. Once, for example, the group was going through a trial and had to fight these mangy chickens. The chickens were really Cockatrice but they never new. Later Eliath goes on blabbering on how they fought and killed these mutant Cockatrice cursed by the gods and possessed by demon spirits. He has slayed 5 Gray dragons while unarmed except for his faith and determination. He truly believes what he says. His mind just has a hard time determining reality from fiction.

Eliath's Heart is gold and so is his hair. He was a pretty boy. When he smiled his teeth glistened and his his hair always blew with the wind. He never lost hope and never lost faith in his friends. Despite his flaws... I almost admire the character.

Jessica Bloodstar

Jessica started in a evil 2nd edition DnD game. She was a custom Dark Paladin that me and the DM created. She wore black armor and she was pale as the moon. Her hair was wavy down to the middle of her back but she mostly kept it up for when she was in battle.

Her next appearance took place in a Star Wars game I ran. Most people actually know her from here. She was a dark Jedi who strives to please the current sith lord so that she can become his new apprentice. She never achieves this however as she was smitten by a character named Typhlo.

All in all she is the exact opposite of Eliath. She is my evil avatar and she embodies all of my hatred. When she appears in one of my campaigns people fear her. And rightfully so.

2375 - Took Starfleet Application Test. Passed first time.
2379 - Graduated Starfleet Acadamy. Assigned to USS Broadsword as FCO.
2379 - Promoted to Junior Lieutenant for dedication.

History:
Cathryn was a meek child in youth, learning to watch and observe everything from her grandfather. An avid book reader, she devoured book after book in an attempt to gain knowledge. After finishing classics, she moved on to the ever-changing world of technology. From the earliest days, she was obviously a natural pilot. With help from her father, a former Chief Engineer on an Excelsior Class Starship, she built a flier from the ground up.

A definitive tomboy, Cathryn played any sports she could enroll in. Soccer, lacrosse, even chess. When she was 10, a lacrosse accident in a game broke her collarbone. After four days in the hospital, the doctors informed her that she would not be able to injure her collarbone again. Thus, she would redouble her learning efforts.

When her grandfather died, the one person in the world who taught her the most was robbed from her. Though it came as a devastating blow to her, Cathryn did inheret her grandfather's library of classic books. In time, she would devour every novel, drama, and textbook. When she discovered an Anatomy and Physiology textbook, she put every thought into medical healing.

At the age of 14, Cate would aquire her pilot's license. This enabled her to spend nearly every waking hour she did not devote to study flying in her homemade flyer. Easily enough, she mastered the intracacies of flight control. When she inevetably joined Starfleet, following in her parent's footsteps, she gave no thought to being a helmsman. She spent most of the time in the Acadamy with the hopes of joining the Scientific or Medical staff. It was during the second year that an instructor noticed her skills with the flier, while trying to maneuver through air traffic and combatants during the Battle of Earth in the Dominion War. This vote of confidence alone prompted her to change her studies.

When she graduated from Starfleet Acadamy, she was thrilled when the Assignment Board placed her as the Flight Control Officer onboard the USS Broadsword. The Akira Class Starships had been amongst her favorite ships since entering Starfleet, and she voraciously followed reports of their actions in the War.

However, the Akira Class was second to the Intrepid Class starship in her eyes. Since taking the Admissions test, she had loved the Intrepid class ships. The versatility of the ship astounded her. Their maneuverabilty, the BioComputer on board, and she could never forget the variable geometry warp pylons. O'Mally had spent whole nights in the Acadamy in the Holodeck, flight simulating on Intrepids. Back then, she realized that it was such a beautiful and elegant craft.

My fav character had to be Sapphire, a half-elf sorceress in the very same game Dyne mentioned.

She had a tough time growing up and didn't like to show weakness as a result which was alot of fun to play. She was also horrified of the dark and had been known to blow entire plans and attack at random when the lights went out. =]

Most of the fun was in the mutual background shared between Sapphire and Jericho, the character played by Artemi. We had decided to work together from character creation and ended up with the best role playing experience I've had.

I must admitt that my favorite character to date was from one of Derek's Vampire games. Her name was Iris, she was a Toredor. She had awsome luck rolls (like landing a throwing blade between a thugs eyes). It was becasue of this awsome luck that Derek had to call a "I am God, this happens, I don't care what you do or say" while trying to capture her and Fallen Angel played by Ben. She was just an all around fun charater to play. Not to mention the first character whos game went more than 5 days of play.

Other than her I've got a Fighter in a Iron Kingdoms game I'm playing right now. She's alot of fun. Her name is Alexandra. She is the secondary damage dealer in the group (I started the game late so I'm a level behind the other fighter) but she may soon become the primary. Always fun. She's an Ex-miltary b**** (low chararisma= bad personality) who doesn't thinks all men are drunk sex-additcs (had has yet to be proven wrong on the drunk part). She's alot of fun to play. She has black hair and purple eyes and carries around a great sword. She is also the priamry healer of the group (we lack any real healers) cuz I had a ton of money and nothing left to buy so I loaded up on healing potions cuz they were lighter than gold.
