Ok so the other night I got Chloe to baby sit for me and The Peruvian and I went to a party. After much persuasion from The Peruvian he and I teamed up for a game of Beer Pong (I don't like beer so my cups had Mike's Hard Lemon Drop in them). Well surprisingly we won the game and more surprizingly The Peruvian didn't win the game for us, I did just as well as he did even though I had never played before in my life. Woot for newly discovered skillz.
So I thought I would ask the question what is everyone fav drinking game and how is it played?
Beer Pong is pretty cool. I don't know if it is my favorite cuz I have very little experience in drinking games but it is fun. I don't have the time to type up how to play right now so I'll do it later, that or one of you peeps can discribe it.

ok the game is called "Chandeliers" it is somewhat similar to "Ring of Fire" (in case any 1 knows how to play that 1)
in this variation every card in the game will make either you or another player drink.
this is the set up:
ace: social (everybody drinks 1) 2: you drink 2 (you being the person who drwe the card) 3: you drink 3 4: you drink 4
5: social
6: pass em out (you distribute the 6 drinks among the other players, or you can just give all 6 to some 1; good for making enemies) 7: pass em out 8: pass em out 9: pass em out
10: social
J: thumb master (you put your thumb on the table, the last 1 to do it has to drink 1)
Q: question master (if you make a question and someone answers or acknowledges you they have to drink, even if they nod their head they'll have to drink)
K: dare or rule master. You get to propose a dare to 1 of the players, it can go from singin "its raining men" to remain naked the rest of the game depending on how rowdy the party is. if the dare is refused and it's within reazon, the dared person has to draw a number card and drink that amount.
The rule can be something like: no swearing, no elbows on the table, or (my favorite) the "in my butt" rule, at the end of each statement people have to say "in my butt" (example: "...you get 2 drinks in my butt)
1 more thing a rule made by the rule master cannot veto the power of another card such as the question or thumb master.
have fun and happy drinking

The game is called beeramyd. The way it is played you shuffle the cards together. It all depends on how many decks are used on the number of people playing. You lay down a pyramid of cards seven rows deep. So it would go from one card at the top and seven at the bottom. You deal the remaining cards to the players, until there are no more. The first row is you drink one, which means for each card turned face up you drink once for each of the same cards in your hand (e.g. a king is turned face up and you have two kings in your hand, you take two shots or chug for two seconds depending on what you are drinking.) The next row is give two and the next is take three so on and so forth. For the gives you distribute that many drinks for each card in your hand. (e.g. there is a five face up on the second row. You have three fives, so you have six drinks to distribute). The very last card is take seven. So it would suck if you had three of that card. That would be 21 shots or chuging for 21 seconds. After all the other six rows.

Ok, well I have the time now so I will describe beerpong to all you peeps.
You need 22 plastic drinking cups, four players in teams of two, a long table and at least four pingpong balls (more would be a good idea, balls tend to get lost). Fill two of the cups with water. Each person fills five cups about 1/3 full with their drink of choice (I like Mike's Hard, Beer of course is the popular choice). Each teams takes their ten cups and arranges them into a triangle on their end of the table.
Each team takes turn throwing two pingpong balls into the other teams cups. Each time a ball lands in a cup that team drinks the contents of the cup. The cups filled with water are used for rinsing the pingpong balls as they tend to fall on the floor.
If one teams lands both their pingpong balls in cups, that other team must drink those cups and the first team gets to throw again. If one team lands both balls in the same cup the other team must drink three cups. First team to eliminate all the other teams cups wins. The losing team must drink the remainder of the winning teams cups.
Now after a few rounds you will have blasted a few holes in the other teams triangle. When they have 6, 4, or 3 cups left you may ask for the cups to be rearranged into a smaller triangle or diamond shape in the case of four cups. This is called restacking.
There are variations of this game. I don't know them all but on is call rebuttal. When one team lands both ping pong balls either in the same cup or different cups, the drinking team can try to land a pingpong ball in the first teams cups. For each one they land that is one less cup they drink. These "rebuttal" cups are not drunk. If they are told to drink three cups they must land their pingpong balls in the same cup to escape all three drinks. If they land them in two different cups, they must still drink one. If one team is left with only one cup and a pingpong ball lands in this cup, they may try to "rebuttal" to not drink, however if both pingpong balls land in this cup there is no chance for rebuttal.
This is how ThePeruvian and I played the game and rocked at it. Glory moment of the game was landing both our pingpong balls in thier last cup forcing them to drink it and our three remaining cups.

When I go over to meet Swift and Rubberducky (Halo handles/nicknames, for the record) at their O.S.U. apartment, we play essentially the same Beer Pong as you described, Celest. However, there are bunch of small differences and added rules.
1. We have a face-off at the beginning where a single member of each team looks each other in the eye (you aren't allowed to look at the cups at all... like some sort of staring contest) and makes an attempt to land their ball in an opponent's cup. You go until somebody lands one. If both parties tie or fail, then you switch to a new face-off between the other two players. If any person breaks the stare and looks at the cups, then they lose the face-off and are penalized 1 cup of the opposing team's choice.
2. Your elbows can never extend past the back of your cups. The peanut-gallery enforces this rule if no refs are present/designated.
3. Getting two balls in the same cup only forces the other team to drink one extra cup (which cup is of the throwing team's choice).
4. We play with opaque cups (that means you can't see into them for the layperson), and each team has a single special cup referred to as the "He-Man Cup". This cup is filled to the highest point possible before the opposing team can see the liquid inside (usually three-quarters to eighty percent full). This cup is placed at any point you choose in your beginning triangle and you also choose where it goes on a re-rack. YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO HIT THIS CUP UNLESS YOU'RE AIMING TO GET DRUNK.
5. You may only re-rack once per game, but you can re-rack at the beginning of ANY turn (send-backs or re-throws don't count). You may also choose ANY re-rack pattern you choose that meets the proper distance for the original triangle (as-in, don't try to get the cups closer through re-racking... it doesn't work that way). Popular re-racks in Columbus are the triangle-of-three (3 Cup triangle) and the diamond-and-one (Diamond shape that is taller than it is thin with a single cup in front). Also, a popular, yet unorthodox, re-rack is the Elephant (that involves making it look a bit like the Alaskan coast-line with the Aleutian Islands).
6. Girls get one re-throw each per game.
7. You may call in one "Celebrity Shot" per game. That means you can get anybody that is not already in the current game to throw a shot instead of you. That person must be able to take the shot within the next three minutes... so driving time is sometimes possible with on-campus friends.
8. Knocking a cup over counts as a valid shot... so don't skimp on the alcohol in the cups. The team whose cup was knocked over must drink any remaining alcohol in the cup. If no substantial amount is left, then that team must refill the cup to pre-knocked-over level and then drink it. The one who knocked the cup over must clean up any mess at the end of the game.
9. You may only rebuttal on your last cup. However, if they sink two, then there can be no rebuttal. If you sink two on your rebuttal, then they must drink one (your choice). If that happens to also be their last cup, then they may choose to rebuttal as well.
10. If you bounce a ball in, then they must drink an extra cup of your choice. However, they may defend against a bounce. That means that they can slap your ball away or catch it after it hits a surface (including the rim of the cups, the ceiling (only if clean), or themselves).
11. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE. If you make it in a cup that they must drink, but have yet to finish off, then you win the game outright. This only applies AFTER they have lifted it off the table to begin drinking or set it off to the side.
12. All cups left at the end must be FUNNEL-BONGED by the losing team.
I'm pretty sure that's it. It sounds like a lot of extra stuff, but we find these rules to be MUCH MORE FUN than the basic game. It makes it more cut-throat and screwy. I find the "Celebrity Shot" to be my favourite rule of them all. I'll call in people I don't even know, or guys from a party down the street. My personal victory was winning by getting the Papa John's delivery guy to shoot the last shot.

Step 1: Get the worst video game player in the group, sit them down in front of Halo 1/2 on Legendary/Mythic difficulty.
Step 2: Take a drink when ever they die. If the player is feeling lonely, they too can take a drink when they die.
