What is your take? I personally like it. There is a desolation feel that I just love. There is also a good cast. I think this will climb the ranks of my favorite anime very quickly.

am somewhat skeptical. The feel is alright, but it doesn't do anything for or against me. The characters are somewhat bland, and everything feels like I've seen it somewhere before.
Kind of like when I started watching Bakuretsu Tenchi (take that John! I hardly need you guys to see new material! {/rhetoric}) after watching the original Bubblegum Crisis. I was so pissed when it felt like B. Tenchi was little more than a rip off whose episode to episode plot felt in a word... redundant. But that is another subject....
As for S-cry-ed, I will have to wait a bit longer and decide whether or not I like the "insane speed" guy (someone drop me a line with his name). Believe it or not, whether I like that character or not will be the final straw in how I judge the show.

I have not seen all of Bakuretsu Tenchi, but I am pretty sure that it and Bubblegum Crisis are not even that same genre. BBC being cyberpunk, and I think Bakuretsu Tenchi is simply action...
As for the topic, I am still iffy. I like the pets (still have not remembered the name for them), and I think I like the setting. Unfortunatly, I am turned off by most of the voice actors. Most of them just do not seem to... fit, in my eyes.

And he is starting to be a very cool character, considering all of his monologues are said in under a minute. His voice actor is very talanted. |

I haven't watched much of this show to really say whether or not it's a good series. I've been paying to much attention to Paranoia Agent and some of the other new things on the Swim.

I've been keeping track of it. It reminds me of a mix of DBZ and Wolf's Rain. In other words, I like it. But Paranoia Agent>it.

I like Paranoia Agent...it's creepy....just how I like things ^_^. But yeah, I really do need to start watching S-cry-ed.....I just can't findout when it's on.....I know I could go to the Cartoonnetwork site...but that would require effort...something that I don't want to use right now...I'm tired.

Thanks. Yes I love that anime, the only thing that I have against it right now is the overabundance of movement when they are talking and standing still....I don't know if that is confined to one episode or if they do that in all of them...I haven't been keeping up with it, I'm sorry to say. But Champloo is done by one of my favorite directors of anime, Watanabe. He did Cowboy Bebop as well ^_^

Not to mention they kinda look the same. >.> I really can't say I like S-cry-ed. Couger is cool, but thats about it. Perhaps if the main character didn't spin more times then my karma count before attacking (ha ha I know it's negative, but pretend it's positive right now), it might be fine. Also, I just dont like how the series is progressing, it isn't interesting to me. Paranoia agent is pretty good, I'm actually interested in it. |

I have seen this entire anime, and I personally think it is on the download of an anime. There are only two characters in the entire series that make it even worth watching, and the main character is not one of them.
The Idea behind it is cool, but the plot was all who has more power. Yup, thats it, who has the bigger guns.
Anybody can make an anime like that, its just the old arguemnt I'm stronger because I have this now, whats the point of that? For some reason people seem to think bigger guns always wins, and this anime is just that, the biggest gun.
Only two characters get the biggest gun, but they both have it, so who can win out of that? Neither, its a damn draw. Because neither has any idea how to fight, they just break out their really big guns to beat the other one up.
Now I know they don't use guns in this anime to fight with, I am just using it to make a point. The main guy on the other side, is one of the cool characters, as well as Cougar. As for the rest, take them out, and the anime would at least become two times better.

Update: The voices still seem off to me in some points, but I like the way that the storyline seems to be going. I think I could grow to like this one...
