I know many of you hate the word: sliver... However, I maintain that there is only one color of sliver. All others are simply part of the cycle. So, here we go!(?)
The Truest Shade of Sliver[/b]
Well, lets begin by looking into the available slivers.
Honestly, I prefer to follow the path of aggression and might when dealing with these critters. Thus, I follow the path of green Slivers.
Now, I know that green has some namby-pamby moments where it kind of sucks to be a green creature. The green slivers don't seem to run into that problem. For instance, there is:
Now, what say we get some edge on those, and deal some uber heinous damage?
Oh, wait! That last one wasn't so much about damage as about numbers... and what makes numbers better than:
Finally, to protect your brood, the last two green Slivers:
Now, I don't know about you, but I has a liek for some support cards...
So, how do we balance this all out? Let's start by putting in four of each of the most essential/lowest cost Slivers. Next, we build with those cool abilities. Finally, we cap out with our support cards...
4x Virulent Sliver
x4 Gemhide Sliver
x4 Muscle Sliver
x4 Metallic Sliver
x4 Might Sliver
x4 Quick Sliver
x2 Root Sliver
x2 Horned Sliver
x2 Spinneret Sliver
x2 Reflex Sliver
x2 Sliversmith
x2 Slate of Ancestry
x1 Coat of Arms
x1 Collective Unconscious
x1 Fungus Sliver
x1 Brood Sliver
Nice, eh? How about a coup de grace?
Lets toss in twenty forests and call it a deck! How about that? Simple, eloquent, and beaten about the head and shoulders. No need to run five colors here...
