New Timeshifted Card Face

What do you guys think about the new card face, on cards such as Mycologist and Damnation?

Personally, I really like them. Like, alot really. While I admit that the white font colors on a some of the colors (mainly white and green) could be changed to black, I think the rest of the cards look better in every way. If the orginal, 8th Edition frame switch was more like this, I don't think Wizards would have gotten NEARLY as much complaining as they did, and for good reason.

Your thoughts? Also, here's a poll on the Wizards site if you are for or against the new frames; I PERSONALLY only ask you to vote if you are part of the "Better then normal frames" group, but... Poll link.

Timeshiftyness for the win! I, personally, love the new boarders. I do agree though, that the writing needs to be fixed so that it works with all of the colours.

By the way, I did vote for this just cause of not-suck boarders.

I really didn't mind all that much. I think I would dread them being the regular card face, and that white text reminds me too much of another game... Yu-Gi-Oh, I believe?

Anyway, yes. Timeshiftyness for the win. Just, not for the conquest.

Wow. Almost all of you like them, with almost half of you liking them more than the frames we're currently using. From perusing my inbox, the feeling I get is that most of you aren't fans of the white card text (chosen, honestly, to make them stand out from other cards more than because it looked the best), but really like the saturation and textures of the text boxes. I'll certainly pass these results on to Jeremy Jarvis.

I can stand the frames in small doses, but as the whole[/b] set? >.< Shudders at the thought.

Nice. I rather like the spider web in the corner. Not sure about the placement of the mana symbols, though... why move them? I am assuming that the large circle to the left of the card type is for the expansion symbol; neat idea, though I'm not sure I appreciate the prominance that it has over the card type...

Also, whats this bit at the bottom? "Worldcage Project"? Did I miss a memo?
