Personally, I'm a 'support your local card shop' kind of guy. I mean, there really isn't a good reason to go and hang out at the shop and purchase singles. If the shop doesn't have anything you need, simply wait for another player. Of course, the problem there is that you have to have a shop to speak of in your area.
Which, I suppose, is the big advantage of living in city. My card shop (and consequently RPG book and miniatures shop) is literally down the street from me.

I am too, but I don't care much for traveling long distances for cards. I do check out the local comic shops but I've exhausted their current resources.

I support the little people, the small businessman, the everyday Joe. I dislike buying cards on Ebay, and I tend to support trade with unpriveleged players. I guess you could say that I'm a Magic Socialist.
