Magic: The Building. A new game...

All right all you peoples. We staff members have been trying to think of a way to liven up this thread a bit. Here is my idea.

A deck building game

Similar to the poetry games you will be given the names of some cards. It has yet to be determined how many, and you our Magic playing community will come up with a deck that uses these cards.

To make things a little more interesting, you will be given a Type of Deck to Build as in it will fall under some rules if it were played in a tournament. Soem of the types will be, Type 2, 1.5, Block, Peasent, just to name a few.

So let me know what you guys think about this as well as any suggestions you may have to help the process. And I will work on the first card list. Ok?

Jeez, you got this thread out before I even had a chance to put up my own. Anyway, I fully support the given idea... even if my vote doesn't count because I'm staff. I look forward to participating in this and seeing other people's conceptual designs.

I would also like to take this chance to point out my own new Magic thread entitled "Combo Corner". It will work under much the same principles as this one, but on a much smaller scale. I don't intend for this to be in any type of competition with the current thread, but rather another point of interest. Look to the thread for more info.

We could also build the decks and when we all get together the next time see whos would beat whos? that would be a fun emperor game. but yes i agree that this sounds like a fun game.

ok you guys the first list is up. Its called MtG build a deck Alpha test. have fun. if you have any more suggestion feel free to post them here.

oh and Eun, I may ask for a Sub-board later. lets see how well this goes first.
