Then again you probably don't want him to.
The article says that they made Ivy look less of a man. I'm sorry but bigger boobs doesn't make some look less like a man. I'm sure Ivy will now be listed under eye candy for that body though.
I think Ivy's bra is as enchanted as her sword. How in gods name do those things stay in there?

To be fair, though, Ivy ALWAYS had this weird, not-quite-right look to her. She's one of the few girls in a while who does NOT do the whole "I'm crazy which makes me sexy" thing. She just looks like a skank.
Of course, this is also the game series that finally broke me of the "no clothes = hot" thing. We'll see what they do to the other characters, though I fear for Taki's outfit, which also looked pretty terrible in the last game...

I don't think Ivy looks skanky... she dressed kinda provacative, yes... but she's upper class and lady-like at the same time. Just look how she moves and stands, she's refined but wild and sexy at the same time. Maybe I'm just making shit up for her because I liked her character / story haha.

Ivy's outfit is no more absurd (read: skanky. I just think that its a dumb word) then anything I've seen over this summer's fashions or anything on the front cover of your favorite fantasy novel for the record.
I actually find Maxi and Kilik to be almost as ridiculous as the aforementioned, what with the washboards and all. Maxi looks real good considering he dies in the last game. =\ Come to think of it, Raphael and Siegfried are the only males wearing shirts in Soul Calibur. XD
Remember that Soul Calibur is a fantasy setting in which things like gravity do not have nearly the effect that it has on us in the real world. Keep also in mind that tag line in my first post.
Oh and Conscript, if you didn't care you wouldn't have posted. =D

Where's the armor on these people, anyway? Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Seigfried, and kind of Taki are the only ones wearing ANYTHING. Cassandra, Sophita, and Lizardman are atleast TRYING, while Asteroth and Cerevantes are well... I guess they don't need it. But everyone else? Man, you'd think the size of Knightmare's sword would scare the sense into them. |

Hey, let me just say that every in outfit of Xianghua (my favorite character) that I can think of, she is fully clothed. I mean she wearing capri pants and short sleeved shirts, but it's better than Shophita. By the way... SC4 wikipediaAt the bottom there are wikipedia links for all the games and also if you follow them around there are wikipedias for all the characters too. Also I found this... Hmm... I got Mitsurugi. That doesn't seem COMPLETLY off. Actually, this quiz isn't that bad; normally these things are really lame. I'd say the ones that people have gotten so far are good choices, though in a way I could also have seen Ant going with Maxi. I'm impressed. This quiz is lame, the weapon question ruined it. All of the questions seem ambiguous pretty much as to which character they may lead to... but that one? It pretty much tells you which category you're going for. This allows people to pick the path of the character they want to be like and ruins the quiz aspect.

Hmm... I wasn't aware that I was female.... I mean... I joke and all, but damn. This quiz gave me Xianghua for the record. This quiz is pretty far off by my count. It doesn't help its cause by being only ten questions long. It would be hard to get an accurate judgement on anybody's character/personality in that few questions. I'll see if I can find a better one elsewhere.

I couldn't be making this up. Darth Vader and Yoda are in Soul Calibur IV as console specific characters for the PS3 and 360 respectively. Don't believe me? Burns the soul still does. The two most shocking moments for this situation are watching Raphael dodge Astaroth like 5 consecutive times and the fact that I couldn't find ANY naysay to this move by Namco. At the end of the day, this >will< sell PS3s and 360s alike. Its going to be like SC2 all over again, where like...EVERYONE is going to be playing the game creating a huge player base that effectively will not give the southern end of a northbound rat about SCIV or fighting games in general. Truly, it is a dead genre...and that makes me sad. Ukyo and I are hard at work making all the jokes about this situation possible for the specific purpose of telling people that they are not funny. My favorites so far are: 1. After the destruction of the first Death Star, Vader lands his TIE Advanced back in the furture year of 1480 due to the astronomical amount of midichlorinans to be found in the soul edge. 1/10/08 2. Whenever Vader encounters a female character, he shouts "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". 1/10/08 3. Yoda will be the best ringout character ever as all his kicks will just be force push. He will automatically dodge horizontal attacks. All his attacks will be low. 1/10/08 4. Soul Calibur characters will not be able to parry lightsabers as the cortosis weave has not been invented yet. 1/10/08 5. Vader, unable to access the sophisticated ancient tech that keeps him alive, he will instead be powered by a Blu-Ray disk player...which records everything infront of him onto a Blu-Ray disk then transmits it to his eyes as Blu-Ray is higher resolution then real life. |
