So we all know that you can download NES, SNES, and N64 games on your Nintendo wii. Nintendo will release a total of 10 games a month (i do believe) but which ones are you looking forward to the most?
Earthbound
In my opinion it was one of the best rpg's around. I can't wait to get a hold of that and playing it again. I was praying for a day they re-released it but I guess now I can just buy it for a couple of bucks.
Suck that EBAY!

I agree with you whole heartedly. I love Earthbound! This would make me a very happy camper, pardon the expression.

Good question. Theres more then a few SNES games I didn't get a chance to play, so I'd say I'm looking forward to them.

I don't know about all of you...but I stand by my claim...now granted if you want tangible evidence you'll have to go somewhere else. But the claim is that "Nintendo has always cared more about their gamers than any of the other system makers out there...period." I'm looking forward to owning a Wii and to sight Dyne and Lylie's observences. If any of you have anything bad to say about the Wii, go ahead, I'll be to busy playing Earthbound and Harvest Moon to give a damn ^_^

I think we've already said everything bad about the Wii indirectly.
We're buying a nextgen system not for its games, but for the games of previous systems. Its like buying an MP3 player so you could listen to your old 8 track records. They were awsome, and you'll always like them, but there should be better things out now.
Mind you, I've had a score to settle with Soul Blazer and Drakkan for some time.

Nah, I'm not buying it for that. I'm buying it for Twilight Princess, Smash brothers Brawl, and Boudokai Tenkaichi 2 (because its using the controllers perfectly). The fact that it is completely back wards compatible to the NES (don't forget staple SEGA games) is in my mind a added feature.

Thats kind of what I'm saying. The system sells itself on nostalgia alone.

It sounds like the Wii is set to make some serious waves There are still debates as to who will distribute (if anyone will) the Nintendo console in South Africa... we don't really count when it comes to marketing strategy. I know a few DS loyalists who will probably import the box if it doesn't come out here... As for backwards compatibility... Hmm, I'd love to play Sonic again, mario kart 64... And that game on the Sega Megadrive, which I can't remember the name of... Had Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as wizards... Ten points to the person who can remember the name for me ;D The fact that there is so MANY old games that people would love to play again, will make the Wii more successful. And I hope that it will be cheaper than the I-cost-more-than-a-top-of-the-range-graphics-card PS3... Anyone know how much are they charging for the download of the old games?
