Just cuz I have the time i decided to go through the entire list of memebers and take a look at theri karma scores.

I was impressed. For a short moment I thought I had the highest with 14.

Then I saw Artemi's.



So I decide to create this thread about it to discuss it and ask a few questions.
Like how many of you even notice your karma scores?
Or how many of you exalt or smite others on a regular basis?
And what kinds of actions are rewards with exalts, or punished with smites?

So discuss.

For fun I made a current standings of all Karmas. I'll try to update it weekly. I included the darkenhearts on hopes they will return.

Apparently, someone smited you for posting their Karma.

Seriously, I do notice my own Karma rating and will exalt or smite others for something outstanding they say or action they make in threads or for something extremely crappy.

I had thought of it as a reward-type system to encourage innovative play and discourage discord among the players.

I never really understood why I let the karma feature in. However, it does seem to be quite the interesting measure of who's who on the Temple.

But, seriously, I did not even notice that it was there. It is kind of a cool feature, I suppose...

Now, I wonder what I did that was so noteworthy... *strokes chin*

Well it looks as if only Artemi and myself dropped one. Every one else is the same. I wonder why?

I'll credit my Karma score to being behind the lines a great deal of the time. My moderation duties take precedent when I'm on the Temple as I'm not one for online RPGs. I'm just here to insure the Temple doesn't go through Hell and back while Eunhathes isn't logged in (and even when he is). Other than that, I work with Eun to push this forum to higher levels of... well, everything good anyway.

If I was more active on the Temple's main forums, then my Karma would likely be radically different. It would either be much higher... or much lower. Either way, it likely wouldn't be 4.
