OK... We've been too quiet for too long. Here is one from a while ago. Hope you enjoy and give me some feedback on it.

*Closing*
His temper slammed a wrapped steak against the back of the freezer and caused the defroster to start. "Of all the hypocrisy..." he yelled.
He started hot water running and snatched a large pot from the shelf and caught the stream from the spigot. "of those damned bureaucrats..."
He struggled the full pot to the stove, where he inventoried his ingredients like basil, oregano, salt and sage. "and the audacity..." his voice rose in pitch.
He removed the steak from the freezer, cut it into several one-inch cubes, tossing them into the water with vegetables and spice. "to close an orphanage with one pen..."
He sat at the long dining table, places set for twelve children and four adults at supper. "and build a casino with another."
