I know there are several people who write poetry and as a rule, write well. There was a question about how your inspiration hits and I am burning with curiosity now about how the writing comes about for you all.
There are a lot of times when I try something that works for someone else. So I'm always on the watch for another game I can play to keep the muse happy.
So again, the question is asked... "How does your inspiration happen?"

I think my Muse likes to come and go. There is no one particullar thing I do to feel inspirered. When it hits I better sit down and write before it leaves. Very few times have I sat down an spent more than five minutes on something, and with one exception the results weren't my best work.

Mine? Her name is Nimura. She, however, is very interesting divulger of universal secrets. Instead of whispering to me, she tends to bellow. Not angrily, mind you. Just so she can be heard over the other nonsense milling about my skull. Of course, when she comes for a visit, she stays for a while. Much like recently when I started writing a verse. However, her benefit isn't without drawback. She isn't present most of the time. Thus, my poetry has tapered off to a small trickle that we call the Poetry Game. Which reminds me: Hey, Lylie! When do we get our next list?
