Venon looked at him kind of strangely, but then decided it would be a good idea for some money. he pulled out a piece of paper and wrote: "Alright i agree to watch your back on two circumstances, one that you tell me what you think might happen, and two if something does happen can i have the body? and if that is all OK with you my name is Venon Talki."
He bowed pulling back his long black trench coat revealing his fish net shirt, with a pair of black jeans. he had black hair, 1 blue eye(to the right), and one green eye(to the left), he was about 5' 8", 180 Ibs.
Venon was a little happy at the fact that this happened. he thought it was going to be another normal boring night, but by the looks of things it seems it was going to be more than that, or so he hoped. the last time he had a good challenge was about two years ago.

"Expect the worst, hope for the best, then your never dissapointed in life." -Victor Delicriox-
Shock looked at her sire and blinked a few times. "She wouldn't stop her damned mouth. She has the dieharrea of it or something." Shock took her fist back and turned to Halo. "If your so fancy with her, then why dont you deal with her. She needs to keep that pretty little mouth of hers shut or someone meaner than me'll get ahold of her. You might want to inform her of how this town works." she looked back at Lucine and glared at her.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."
Lucine turns around and looks at Shock smiling. "Some one meaner than you will get a hold of me, hmmmm? Some one meaner than you would have killed the annoyance before I had offered any help. You really should be more gracious and either accept help or deney it less rudely. Things like your temer will get you killed most places. You're lucky you're connected here, I hope for your sire's sake that luck doesn't run out." She then looks at Halo sweetly, "Thanks you Halo, you are a true gentleman, now if you don't mind, I'd like to explore, maybe you can tell me about things later." She then looks back at Shock, "By the way my dear, my mouth never flies first." She smiles and gives another kind nod to Halo and walks into the ladies room.
The Toreador's hand lowered to his side. "Shock, you need to take a deep breath and check yourself. This situation almost got out of hand. You know the rules in the Third Ward. She doesn't. On top of that, I don't want to have to clean any innards off the floor again. I will deal with her, and expect to be dealt with later." Halo, were his eyes not protected by his sunglasses, would have been firing piercing beams of unending destruction into Shock.
As it were, he simply turned his attentions elsewhere. First, he turned to look for Lucine. Failing to find her, he turned to Venon. "Venon, eh? Good name. Venon, I would like you to meet Shock. She plays here every so often." He motioned for both to follow him and continued speaking. "Venon, I honestly just needed someone to cover me. Just in case my Chi... the situation deteriorated. It looks like it was averted."
Halo chose a decently dark booth. He gestured for Venon to sit on one side, and Shock to sit on the other. "Seats? In any case, there are some things I would like to discuss. Specifically, a pay rate, Venon." He leaned to one side. "I will have to talk to some people first, but I need to know if you are interested. Specifically, I need some help doing my job." He sat, once Shock had decided whether or not she was sitting. "I am the Constable of the Third Ward. That means I have the great pleasure of protecting the only, universally acknowledged have for any and all immortals. We maintain a subtle prescence here, trying hard not to lend ourselves to the prying eyes of our contemporaries."
Halo continued. "Many of the people, in this club even, could be considered deserters, treasonists, murderers, and even diablerists." The Constable looked around the bar. "The danger is real enough, and the threats regularly appear." He reached inside his coat pocket and withdrew a small slip. He withdrew three one hundred dollar bills. He slid them across the table to Venon. "For your troubles, tonight. So, what do you think?"
Shock still simmered as she waited for Halo to finish. When he slid the money over she jumped on her chance to talk. "I want her out of my club now. Either you do it, or I'll make sure that she doesn't come back." Stared at Halo through her sunglasses.
In the bathroom Lucine finds it to be an ordinary womens bathroom. The sinks in a row, actually clean, he stalls all closed, only a few marks on them, and the floor actually clean of dirt, grime, and other crud.
Irisi gets to the front of the line. The bouncer looks at her and smiles. "Hey sweetie. Just protocol but I need your invention. And just for your information, it might get a little ruff in there. We have someone in there that is very temperamental." She smiled again and waited for Irisi to get her the invite.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."
Venon looked at the money, and after a few minutes of thought picked it up and put it in his pocket. he then fliped the piece of paper over and wrote: "That sounds interesting. to be honest i have nothing better to do with my time. as far as pay goes, what you just handed me should be enough, or a little less. it is nice to meet you halo, but i must be honest agian, i thought that you were just looking for some easy prey for the night. I am sorry that i misjudged you." Venon slid the paper across the table and looked at shock.
He took another piece of paper out of his pocket and wrote "nice to meet you shock, i am Venon Talki. so if you guys protect the immortals of this sector than why were you trying to kill the other lady?" Venon slid the paper to her and waited to hear if halo would accept his proposal.

Lucine smiles at the clean facilities. Well, this certainly is good. This place seems very nice with the exception of that woman. She walks over and checks herself in the mirror. Hmmm, that childe has never used anything but force to get her way it seems. SHe certainly is different, but I have met Toris that enjoy the art of fighting over the most traditional ones. Either way, she shouldn't pose too much of a problem, her sire was certainly a good choice to become aquainted with. Halo is most likely the reason I was invited here tonight, with him staying with me and all. She touches up her hair and make up and gives her self one last look in the mirror with a small smile Well Lucine, you may have to watch you're back for a little bit, but you have handled your self before. This is certainly not enough to run. Just talk and charm is all that is requiered here.
Lucine comes out of the ladies room and takes her time looking around the bar. She takes time to make a careful mental note of where the one with many mouths was and then scans the room for Halo and his childe, walking around some to look form them. Once she sees them she notes the booth and takes a seat at the bar once more to wait for the woman to leave.

Irisi gives the lady a hard stare. Sweetie? What kind of a vampire does she think I am? She pulls the invitation out of her leather trench coat and hands it to the bouncer.
Shock's tantrum caught his attention. "We'll deal with that shortly enough. Just calm down for now." Halo cast his gaze around the room again. "Besides, we can't even speak with her until she comes out again." Shock's sire removed his sunglasses and glared at her. "In any case you and I will have some words later."
Venon slid his note slid across the table and Halo inspected the writing on it. He nodded, "Understandable." He shrugged, "As I said, I'll have to talk to some people first. In any case, I'd like to thank you for helping me out. It looks like the night might yet be rowdy." The young Toreador replaced his sunglasses and breathed a sigh of relief. The flashing lights had been getting to him for a few minutes. "We have to help Miss Lucine out of the Night Queen's."

Shocked looked at Halo and said "Im going to go back up to the stage. Just make sure shes out of here before I get off stage." Shock got up and walked to the stage. There she began to play.
As Irisi walks in she sees a darkly lit club. Some lights are flashing near the stage. A woman gets up on stage and some people follow. She starts to play an instrament and singing. There is a bar to one side, tables spread out, and a dance floor near the stage.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."

Irisi takes a look around and takes note of any vampires she recognizes from the party. She then makes her way to a table in the back. She situates herself so that she has a good view of most of the club, specifically the stage. She sits and waits for the waitress, listening to the music.
Lucine smiles as she watchs Shock leave the table. She waits nodding to the music slightly till Shock is well into her first song before heading over to Halo's booth. She smiles sweetly at him. "You know she doesn't have a bad voice. She should channel more of her temper into her music." She sets down her drink and looks over at Venon. "Is this another aquaintance of yours?"
The Sire watched his Childe slip away from the situation. He shook his head. Running didn't solve problems. However, she was still his responsibility. He called after her, "Maybe if you play Machine Gun Fire for me, I'll think about it." The song was Halo's favorite from the time he spent in Cronus Rising, and it suited his mood. He was outright angry right now without good reason. However, he was delightful with the thought of hearing his song again.
Very shortly after Shock left, Lucine approached. "That was why she was chosen for backup vocals. Originally, of course. Then I was... given more responsibility." He shrugged. "I still try to play with them when I can." Halo snapped out of his reminiscence and looked at Lucine. "I'm sorry. Memories don't fade easily for those of my line. I used to be the lead singer of Cronus Rising." He gestured to where Shock was wrapping the audience into a tizzy of commotion.
Lucine's second comment caught him a bit off, but he recovered without so much as a stutter. "Mister Venon Talki, this is Lucine. Lucine, Venon." He motioned towards each of them. "Venon will be assisting me... with some things." Halo wasn't sure how much he was allowed to give away now. In the old days, anyone who didn't know better was dealing with the Constable. But now, with a new Prince and all, he was uneasy. His blind instinct told him that it should be fine, but his head screamed to play it safe.
The Toreador looked at his clan counterpart. "Shock has formally requested that you leave, you know. In order to maintain peace here, I am obliged to agree." Halo's face was deadpan and emotionless. "She may be a fresh vampire, but she has learned quickly. She also seems to have picked up on my Sire's mental tendancies." Halo waited for either Venon or Lucine to break the tensity of the air with words.
Venon noded his head at Lucine and held out his hand to shake hers. he looked her in the eyes and then over her shoulder to shock.
He looked at halo with a bit of Intrigue, how is it a man of his "Calibure" was were he is at and still so nervous. it cought Venon's curiosity problem and he was bound determined to find out. The best way Venon could think of to find out what he wanted to was to do what he was invited to do.
Venon whiped out his little note pad and a pencil and wrote "I am sorry that you have to leave, but if you would follow me i will show you the door." Venon waited for a reply to see if he needed to take any further actions in removing Lucine from the club.
"Expect the worst, hope for the best, then your never dissapointed in life." -Victor Delicriox-
"Strange to maintain peace, you wish to remove the peaceful one. I'm not sure if... Shock is her name?... well I'm not sure if she told you what happened but I was trying to help her. The guy over there with the mouths," she point to the vampire, " he came in with out waiting in line. He said hewants to meet the new prince. Shock got in his face, I told him that the Prince wasn't here that he needed to find Kiki, and she wasn't here either. Then your Childe started insulting me. I was only trying to help. Some one like that, well, it is usually best to avoid physical combat with them." She sgihs and sits down. "I was trying to be nice, I even complemented her, she is cute. But you say she wants me to leave, let me guess she'll kill me if I don't."
Shock did as her sire asked and played his song. It fit the way she was feeling right now anyways. The music ripped from her as she lost herself in it. The band picked up on it as soon as they relized what she was playing. It had been a while since they played the song. It was only played by request.
A waiter came by Irisi, "So miss what's your poisin? We have AB+, AB-, O-, and O+." He flashed a smile at her and waited for her reply.
"You think that you can tell us apart? Many have tried, but then again, many have failed. What do you think the price for that is?" The Three Sisters Lylie-governess to a child of the first plain "You grew up. Thats a shame. The carousel never stops turning. You cant get off either. Its a shame."
The rippling chords and staggered lyrics of Machine Gun Fire eased the tension Halo had begun to feel. Only another day at the office, he reminded himself. He looked over where Lucine indicated, but failed to find anyone. "I don't see anyone that matches that description there." He uttered in a deadpan voice. He didn't like people who made ruses around him. "In any case, even if there was someone who instigated all this, you still have the responsibility to ignore the aggravation. This city has a police force. And more." He grinned nefariously. "In this particular section of town, there is only one governing rule: No affiliations." He held up a singular finger. "This means no one will save you except yourself. The only exception is a Sentinel appointed by the Prince to maintain peace in the area." He placed his hand on the table. "The Prince, as a general rule, could never have afforded to have the free spirits here wheeling around the rest of the town. Thus, the Sentinel keeps major disasters from getting out of hand." He looked over to the woman on the stage. "Take Shock, for instance. Pretty on the outside, talented musician, and solid vocalist. However," His voice changed to something deep and sinister, "She has inherited my Sire's ailment. She is easy to anger and quick to the punch. She wasn't like that before the embrace. She's capable of crushing an entire block of the city if she wanted to." The Toreador let the facts sink in. "In order to keep from having to pick your intestines off the ceiling, you probably should at least heed her and leave." Halo felt oddly bad at making Lucine leave, but nothing else could be done.
"You make it sound like it will be easy for her to kill me. I don't care how strong or fast she is. I've seen worse, faced it, and laid it flat long enough to get away. I admitt I'm not a fighter, but I have ways of stopping those I want to. I've left kindred frozen long enough to burn to dust. Besides she's you're childe, its you're job to keep her in check." Lucine glares at him before standing up. "You know what, nevermind. I'm just saying I didn't do a damn thing wrong. I never threw a punch, and my insults were weak at best. I was trying to keep your kid alive and tell the mouth guiy what he wanted to know at the same time. You've got a real funny way about showing appreaciation around here. Tell your childe that her temper is fire and kindred of all folk shouldn't play with fire." She leaves the table and heads towads the door. She leaves a $10 at the bar and walks out the door. She walks to the end of the line and calls at one of the kindred there. "Hey you, I'm looking for the Red Rose. You know where it is?"
Venon looks at halo, and then watches Lucine walk out of the club. Venon then pulls out that familar note pad and writes "That was a lot easier than i thought. I am also sad, she seems like she would have been fun to play with. So Halo, how is it that i have been here for a while, but never encountered you guys before?" he handed Halo the paper. "hmmm...this is a interesting night, i wonder what else might happen. never the less, i have new "friends" and seem to have a source of income. i would however like to know why there is so much tension in the air?" Venon finished his thought process and then waited for a answer out of Halo. He watched shock with half of his attention, waiting on halo to say something with the other.
