(Right, Right, Upstairs)
Halo looked at the prince. He thought nothing of her closed eyes for he hid his eyes as well. He thought nothing of the loft, for he knew people who lived in lofts. What struck him as odd was the desk and the need for such secrecy. He stepped forward anyway and entered the room. He looked for a spot to sit. "That I am. I have heard interesting things about you, my Prince. What is it that you could possibly want with me?" Halo enjoyed keeping his conversations short. Long ago, he would have bombarded her with feats, merits, awards, and other things he could do. The last time he had, he was mortal. Now, two years later, he had learned much patience.

Lucine finds a empty space at the far end of the bar. The bar tender askes "what'll have sweety?" The male bartender gave her a slow smile and waited for her reply.
"I would like to know of your experiances in this city Halo." The new prince said. "You see I could use a person like you to keep the peace as we make the neccicary changes that are needed. I have heard of one in particular that only you seem to keep a hold on. She seems to be a little... speratic. I would like you to continue to be the ward of this place. If you have any questions, I will answer them IF I can." The prince smile sweetly at Halo waiting for his answer.

Lucine batts her eyes. "Well, that all depends," she smiles at him sweetly. "I've never been here before. What kinds of things do you have here." She watch his mouth, hoping to catch a glimps of fangs, if he has any.

(Speaking with the Prince)
Halo straightened himself up. "Well, for the old regime, I was the Sentinel of the Third Ward. The Third Ward declared their independence of the Immortal World years ago. It actually exists in a manner of peace that I don't think anyone else understands." He shrugged and leaned against the door frame. "You see, the Lupines, Fey, Mages, Kindred... we all coexist harmoniously there. We've put aside those "wars" that the others told us we would have to fight. Some of us have even found peace there." Again, Halo was glad that his sunglasses hid his eyes. He would never share his pain with anyone. He continued, "In all honesty, I would like to continue to oversee this area. It isn't kind, or happy. In fact, its kind of down right grungy. But," He paused to shift his weight and for dramatic impact. "It is home."

"Yes I know of that. So then you agree to keep that running then. I was wonderinging if you could keep that pisky child of yours undercontrol though."The prince said softly.
Lucine does not notice any fangs on the bar tender. "Well that depends on what your tastes are dear. So then what is your taste?"

Halo cocked an eyebrow. "You mean Shock? She's harmless... mostly." He shrugged. "So me keeping her in check is the only contingency to staying employed? Deal." He really didn't understand the problem with Shock. He never had problems dealing with her. Why should now be any different.

The bar tender got out a red looking thick liquid, then poored the liquid in a glass and said, "We get donors in here once a month, this is O+. Enjoy." The bar tender sat the glass down and went about business.

Questions? Do I have questions? Halo thought to himself. "Yes. Firstly, my pay rate." He waited for her to explain, then continued with each point. "How far am I allowed to go to maintain peace?" "What about Sect affiliation; Sabbat, Camarilla, or Unaligned?" "Any other... creatures you are worried about?" After barraging the Prince with questions, Halo genuinely though he was finished.

Lucine smiles at the bartender and takes a sip from the glass. "Hmmmm, quite good thank you. So what can you tell me about this group thats playing here tonight." She pulls the invite out of her purse and showed him. "I recieved this and I'm still not sure why. I'm still rather new to the area."

the prince nodded at each pause and waited for Halo to continue in the questions. When he was done with his questions she cleared her throght and started to answer the questions, " your pay will be the same pay that you got before plus access to Kiki if you should need her for anything. As for maintaining the peace, you can go as far as you need to, reasonably of course. If you want to blow up something though, you need to check with Kiki first. As for sects, who needs them? They are a bunch of stuffy old wind bags. Creatures though. The only thing that you need to worry about is what you have already been worring about." She stops for a moment and then asks "so do you have anything else to ask?"
The bar tender looks at Lucine "well its obvious isnt it. Your a vamp. if you a vamp someone knows, infact everyone that matters knows. The band though, they are a local here. Don't eat the members of it. The lead singer will then eat you. If your lucky the consabol will get you befor she does."

"Really?" she smiles, "I wonder how that got around. Well so much for keepin a low profile. Oh well, now, I assume that the lead singer is well, one of us. I've heard a little about her all ready. Now what I'm curious about is, when you say eat the other members does that mean don't kill them , or just don't drink from them at all. Because if one is interested, I can't make any promises." She takes another sip of her drink and looks over at the band setting up. "After all, I have yet to kill a mortal." She stops for a moment. " Well, at least in this city I haven't," she says a bit quieter.

(Questionings)
Halo looks the Prince up and down once again. He removes his sunglasses and nods to her, bowing slightly in the process. "Just one. May I enquire as to how the previous Prince was removed from power. I try to remain current on the power struggles outside the Third Ward, just in case I have to venture past my safe haven there." He hoped he wasn't prying to far. He, like Lucine, really was itching to have this bit of discrepancy relieved.

The bartender looked at Lucine. "Now lass if you want to last in this town you will leave the band members alone. If you try anything with them you'll have to answer to the sentinal. He could have a word or two about it if Shock doesn't get you first."
The band at that time took a break. The lead singer walks up to the bar and askes the bartender "Hey Alex, can I get a glass of AB-?" The bartender turns around and brings up a glass of red liquid. "can you get the others a glass of apple martinies?"
"Sure thing doll. Are you sure that they all want that or are you just having a throwback to the old days?"
"Ohh the Hell with ya!" Shock turned on her seat and starts to sip her drink.
The prince tapped her chin with a slinder well groomed finger. "The old prince. I do not know what happend to the old prince. All I know is that I asked of a city from a friend and he gave me one. Hes a real old friend of mine. We knew each other from a few centuries back. This city just happend to open up soon after I asked. So then is that all that you would like to ask?" The prince looked at Halo waiting for him to answer.

Lucine smiles at the woman and looks back at the bartender, "Sir, you really should recongize a joke in your line of work. But either way, I'll try my best to resist. I am curious you speak of a consible and sentinal. Who might they be, if they are seperate people, that is." Lucine was always interested in being connected to power, just not to much power.

It would walk though the line after some time, and look at the door women.
"If there is a cover charge, I belive this should cover it." Without even an upward glance it would throw a fifty in the air and walk past. It wasn't like many people would argue...and if they did, they should have known better. Walking in and pulling down it's hood, it scanned the area trying it's best to locate a few of the people that it remembered from the other night it attended.

[Prince's Chambre]
Halo nodded. "Yes. How much power am I extended." He paused. "What I mean is that if I need to form a group to deal with a problem or to make a standing police force, can I?" He replaced his sunglasses. "One person being law is fine and dandy, but if something happens to that person, hell breaks loose. But if five people are law, and one dies, then four people can still keep the peace." He stood patiently and waited for her aswer.

The bouncer at the door grabs the vampire that had just threw a fifty at her and says "You have to have an invitation. This is an invitation only party." she thrusts the money back at it and says "No invitation, no party."
Shock looks at the door and see the commotion. She sets the cup down and and gets up. She starts toward the door. "Hey is he giving you trouble Max?"
Alex seeing Shock getting agitated picks up the phone and dials a number.
Lucine is watching all of this unfold.
The prince looked at Kiki "that you will have to ask her. She is your supervisor when it comes to something like that."
At that moment Halo's phone vibrated.
The prince asks again "So then is there anything else that you would like to ask me?"

IT would just laugh at the obstruciton. "Look child, how about you let me pass and I don't have to break the masquerade by sucking your intrials out though your eye sockets and making a funny hat out of them, eh? I'm looking for someone to introduce me to the prince...and if I don't get in here, I"m sure you'd let my employer, Pricus Vykos of the Sabbat. Now, as I said." He made clear by grabbing the obstruction by the hand and squeezing. "Let me pass".

Halo nodded to the two women. "No, I think that will do for now." He said, a slight tinge of worry creeping into his throat. "It seems I might have some peace to keep in your city, my Prince. By your leave." With that, the Toreador bowed low, rose, and waited to be dismissed.
