You've heard it rightly: The Worldcage RPG is coming back. However, this time there will be some new rules. Unifying, ground rules. This means that we will be playing with some types of limitations, but some definite openings. For right now, until the system is tested a little better, just rest assured that it is coming back.

hmm well I guess I should start doing something on this forum again. I would be interested in actually participating since I have a steady internet connection (yay I own my laptop >.>). Umm just as a quick question, what system are you using and what are my character limitations when I create him.

Glad you should ask... I am in the process of typing up the new system. I have tried to keep it as simple as possible while offering a flexible numbers system.

Some people have seen glimpses of this new system, and I am waiting to hear back from a couple of them on new mechanics.

Well, here's a bit now...

Those of you who were around for the original and posting when it died out... this is for you... You'll be recieving a nifty eMail pertaining to the new rules set...

And, now, for some teasers!!

Servaussus watched them leave. Those poor fools were reeling from the shock. Not only had Otoma wanted a fight, the old Archmage had delivered a mortal blow to their now frazzled minds; This world was more than just a dirt ball and a metal cage.

His regal robes were as pristine as the day he had crossed the rift from Cleosii. Servaussus had been attempting to get home to Atrica when the old man entered the Temple again. Little did he know at the time that the Gate was going to summon him from his world. However, the monstrosity of a statue did. It had glared down at him as it would with every successive abducted soul to follow him. And, moreover as he found out long ago, every one that preceded him. The toothy grin Servaussus gave the fleeing heroes spoke loudly to the effects his little speech had on them. Many had denounced him as a liar, some had called him a child without legitimate parentage. All had disbelieved what he had told them. He had been honest, though, no matter their denials.

After all, why wouldn’t he have given them anything but truth?
