Well, its time to take up a poll on new features again! Q: How many people would like to see sub-boards for use with longer term games. An example can be found here. There would obviously be some kind of restriction to this, so I was hoping to get opinions on the matter. Personally, I would like to see them. It would allow us to organize the boards a bit better. So, who's game?

Hmm... Interesting question. I think it would depend entirely on the game, and what the GM had in mind to do with them. While some games could be enhanced with a series of sub-boards, others would only get lost and scattered.
I think my answer would be yes, but with conditions. Allow them to be used, as another tool in their arsenal, but we would have to make sure the GM knows how many they want, what they plan on doing with them, etcetera.

I like the idea, but, yes things could get messy. If there is only one game in a board then I don't see the point. But if there are two or three of more games in the board, plus some of the games have a seprate OCC board or seprate boards for each chapter like ACs game, then yes giving it a sub-board will clean things up a bit.

Even if there is only one game in a board now, there is no guarantee that there will not be another game tomorrow. If someone else starts a game, will it be just as easy to seperate the games into subboards beforehand or no?

Hmm... I think it would certainly make it easier to make a small sub-board for each game that wanted one ahead of time, if the GM wanted to have one. Not all games, I suspect, require one; Simple Subject Line titling will be able to keep low key or basic games in check. As long as the GM thinks they actually DO need sub-boards to keep everything organized, and they have a good idea what each of them will be for, then say let them have it.
Maybe have them fill out a short form or something that gives the Staff some idea of how they want the board built/ what the GM intends to use each board for. Also, is it possible to make someone able to delete and edit posts limited to only a small, specific sub-board?

I agree with Artemi. A sub- board for each game will make things easier for the members involved. I would like to see sub- boards.
