Anybody else reallllllly hate the new comedies they put on Sunday nights? I do, I think they are just stupid. Like Saul of the Mole Men, I find to be entertainment for a 3 yr old. Just because of the bright colors and movement. Hell, I wouldn't even let my cat watch that crap. And for Tim and Eric's Awesome New Show, it's worse than their old show. And I don't even like Tom Goes to the Mayor. It is Anti-Awesome in my opinion.
Now on to Saturday, something good actually. And I got a little creeped out by the opening. Blood + promises to be an actual good series. I hope it stays as good as the first episode was. I plan on watching it again, maybe even buy it when it comes out on DVD. Unless it is and I didn't know it.

Hear, hear! I haven't watched much TV at all lately and I blame CN. There programs were just about the only ones I watched but when they put those two guys' shows onto my TV, they killed it. TV is dead to me. I read a book on my breaks at work so I don't have to look at the TV. I haven't even tried to watch their Awesome show or Saul because the commercials I saw when I turned the TV on to play video games made me bash my head against the table corner. I have resorted to getting my anime fix from the internet just so I don't accidentally see another of those commercials.

I never really shit on AS for their lineup as I never expected them to do anything spectacular. These are the >same< people that ran DBZs for umteen thousand years. CN ran The New Adventures of Johnny Quest for like 5 years before pulling it AND they run Cowboy Bebop and Trigun on a regular basis. Unless they have some sort of contractual obligation (like the Bandai properties, Gundam SeeD and .Hack) they'll pull a show for low ratings FAST. Just look at 'Perfect Hair Forever' and Cardcaptors...oh wait, you can't.
CN, and to a greater extent Fox, are all run by ratings. Ratings are generated by viewers, which means that (like the first Spice Gilrs album) somebody is enjoying the lineup. Remember when they put Home Movies on instead of Futurama? =D

which means that (like the first Spice Gilrs album) somebody is enjoying the lineup. very good point sir. But you also have to realize that AS is doing all that bad either. They put out Trinity Blood, and Eureka 7 just to name a few. Yes they are driven by ratings most of the time, but I think someone needs to get on top of this boo-boo and say, "Look. Yeah we need the ratings...but why not release that new Hentai, magical schoolgirl, post apocalyptic, mecha anime that Geneon just put out in japan!? WE'D MAKE MILLIONS!!!" Someone as AS needs to know from the people they get their ratings from, what we want to see. We can't just sit back and complain about it an not let them know about it.

Well, I agree on the stuff that is on Saturdays isn't that bad. Blood + is actually very cool. And I am enjoying Eureka 7. Trinity Blood was just badass. But they need to fix Sundays lineup. It just has holes of massive sucking.
