Oh yeah... and Eun, I would like to point out something interesting. Null Profusion likes Spellbook. With Spellbook out, you don't have the restriction.

My reasoning is the rule: "If at any time in M:TG, you can and you cannot... then you cannot."

The way that the two cards are worded is as follows:

Spellbook - "You have no maximum handsize."
Null Profusion - "Your maximum handsize is two."

The negative (as in NO) is found in Spellbook, but not on N.P. This means, by Magic's own rules, that you can have a max HS of 2, but you cannot have a max hand size. WOOT!

I seriously doubt that such is the way judges will handle it, but I am an English major... and that is the way that the grammar works. So, I may just be attempting to pull a fast one at Prerelease (yes Celest, I'm coming).

By the way, if you can quote another rule that will stop this blatant brokeness... go for it.

Eun... Spellbook is in 9^th Edition as well.... That means that this BS is T2 legal... but keep it on the DL (I couldn't resist).

Woops... I thought that you were speaking of blocks, not sets. And now that I've remembered that Recycle is EXACTLY (not basically) like our new black brokeness....

Speaking of hand size, if you click on Recycle then you'll find the Oracle decisions on the card. Number four on the list is:

10/4/2004 If multiple effects modify your hand size limit, apply them in the order they enter play. For example, if both this and another effect that sets your hand size are in play, the most recent in play decides your hand size.

SO... Spellbook works. You simply have to play it SECOND. Which is cool, because then you'll immediately draw a card. Also, I suppose as long as you play Spellbook third in a series, you could have more then one Null Profusion, thus allowing you too draw two cards per card played. Or, I suppose you could just have 4 Spellbooks and 4 Null Profusions in the deck, and just play them as you get them...

Oh, I think the ball is still in my court. Two different Enchantresses that draw cards? That, along with Retether rather handedly by passes card disadvantage for any Auras I might be playing...

Besides, I always thought those enchantresses had nothing better to do besides draw cards and hand them to you.
