I WILL be buying boxes of this. Regardless. Even if the set sucks. Even if the art is noobish. Even if the cards all cost more than six mana. Even if there is no D. Alexander Gregory art. Even if they ban the island. Mark my words, THIS IS MY SET.
Cards: 422 Themes: 61-cards Tourney Packs: 75-card tournament packs Boosters: 15-card boosters packs Fat Packs: Six boosters, a Time Spiral novel, one spindown lifecounter, a player's guide, a 40-card land pack, one random pro player card, two card boxes, and six plastic card dividers."

I think we all get the picture Eun. so if this is your set then you can be expecting me to buy you some as a present, but when, that is for me to know and you to find out.

I'm going to either laugh really hard... or cry when they don't reprint "Time Spiral" in the set.
By the way Eun... didn't you read the Troy rules? Island is banned. It's one of those laws that we only enforce if you're around....

Link. AC: I am certain it is safe to assume that this will be all new cards.

Right... just like Birds of Paridise wasn't going to be T2 legal in the Ravnica block because it wasn't in 9th Edition....
Single power-cards have a habit of cropping up when you least expect them. However, I do find it unlikely that Time Spiral would get reprinted.
My bet is that they won't print it in the set... but the first FNM promo to be released after the tourney will be Time Spiral itself. Later will come FNM foilies of Planar Chaos and Future Sight. Let's face it... they can't just pass something like that up.

That... book review thingy is possibly the single least informing product summery of all time. I mean, you couldn't TRY to make things less vegue. I think I know LESS about the storyline of this upcoming block then I did before!

1. Big Breeding of Fungi (G/B) 2. Soldier of Hope (W) 3. Destruction of Reality (U/R) 4. Sliver Evolution (G/R/W) I just want to point out that last deckbox. I quit. My beautiful set will be marred by a million obnoxious mongers running roughshod all over it. >.< Anyone else feel that DEVIL isn't leaving the Game just yet?? Also, I expanded a bit on the set information. Check the first post again. HUUGE!!

However, I can see slivers in SCP (IMHO, more likely) because its supposed to be post apocalyptic Dominaria. I will be watching the rumor mill closely for this one. HATE.[/b][/u] Ok, Devil's in. I'm out. Screw you all, I'ma gonna play in the snow. Edit: Except for her. She can come, too. *points down* My guess? It's Reya. Or possibly Radiant. Thanks, Scott M. Fischer!

Ah, this is the final cut of the championship card, Unluckyman's Paradise. Nice. I might just have to go get some of these.

...What...? Am I reading this all right? Flashback? Storm? Morph? Kobolds? Silvers, Cronotog, and even the Black Lotus?
What?! This... is... How does this even all work together? It looks like they just smashed the last ten sets together and called it a day...
You know, I am starting to belive that rumor that Akroma might get reprinted...
Edit: Of intresting note, though, is Krosan Grip. Seems Kamahl has his own cult...

Indeed. However, let me just point out that Split Second might well be the most important, powerful, and broken mechanic since Affinity. And that's only a maybe...

Look at it this way, with all the mechanics coming back you have to wonder how much room they have to put them all in one set. They could have a bunch of mechanics but fewer cards would have one those mechanics supposedly. So far we have suspend, morph, flaskback, storm, and split second. How many more mechanics can they have? And how many cards could have split second? 10? 5?

Hmm... I suspect we will not be seeing too many more new mechanics then the ones we have here... Though, Kamigawa was a Legendary block, Ravnica was gold block... Could Time Spiral be a keyword block? With all of this, Coldsnap doesn't seem NEARLY as out of place... Indeed. However, let me just point out that Split Second might well be the most important, powerful, and broken mechanic since Affinity. And that's only a maybe... I don't know about this one, dude. Yes, it is strong. Yes, it does a wonderful job of stopping counters, but... I don't know if it is as strong as you say. Split Second does a great job of stopping counters and damage prevention, along with handy, last minute Protections. But remember, most decks can't do anything about cards on the stack anyway. It remains to be seen what kinds of cards Split Second goes on, though... Split Terror? Split Remand? I suspect White is going to get screwed again, on this cycle... Bonus question: How much extra many would it add to put Split Second on Time Stop or Swift Silence? It only adds one to Naturalize... Edit: Hmm... Just noticed that Strangling Soot has a Red flashback... So they DIDN'T forget about Ravnica...

Bonus question: How much extra many would it add to put Split Second on Time Stop or Swift Silence? It only adds one to Naturalize... Firstly, this doesn't just stop counters. They're all mini-time stops! You can't just ignore them. They are uncounterable, unreact-toable, unstoppable. There is literally nothing you can do about them. All you can do is sit there and take it in the face. That's not Magic. I like the option of responses. How cool would it be to Krosan Grip you Diving Top? Not at all. How about a Split Sec Shock? "Take two and deal with it." What if you decide to ripple those? Or even replicate? Is it worth it to keep an unstoppable mechanic in the game? Now, I admit, my statement about how it compares to Affinity could be a touch off. It might just be a few cards, like Beast says. However, remember that this is the set that no one can seem to keep straight if its 350ish or 450ish... with rarities of 'B'. On the note of adding mana: Note that the Rarity stayed the same. Rares tend to be better about costing or grossly worse. So, either it'll subtract o1 or it'll add o3. Would I pay 7UU to end the turn, no questions asked? Hmm... How about countering for 4UU without repose... Mayhaps a Fireball for 3XR? That has no responses? Then, what if you print SSCreatures? Obviously, it's too early to say whether SS will change it like I think it will, I'm just saying it now.
