OMGZORS!! I <3 the Azorious Guildmage~! I will be getting a box of Dissension, even if I have to sell the rest of my collection to get it.

Oooooooo Prettty.
However are you sure that isn't the Simic Guildmage. The symbol on her chest agures with Azorious.
Either way I can't wait. *Does happy dance*

Actuall, if you compare the two pictures you can see the Azorius Guildmage on the Blu/Wht precon. And, yes, pretty.
Anyone else notice the female Rakdos on the boosters? Kyriana, anyone?
And on the Simic: You and me for boxes of Dissension! Except, my purpose is far more maniacal. Dimir/Orzhov/Azorius, anyone?

Is it my imagination, or does "Momir Vig" look amazingly like the Reman first officer from "Star Trek:Nemesis"

Actually, there was some speculation on one of the Magic forums I frequent about how it looked like Spock. Then, of course, some smart ass called the Vulcans "Star Trek elves".

Is it my imagination, or does "Momir Vig" look amazingly like the Reman first officer from "Star Trek:Nemesis" So I was reading this thread, and I thought I'd be really clever and point out that Momir Vig looks like the lead Reman from ST:Nemesis . And then I read this . And thus... result: .Actually, there was some speculation on one of the Magic forums I frequent about how it looked like Spock. Then, of course, some smart ass called the Vulcans "Star Trek elves". Not look like Spock. Oh well, that's what those people get for not watching 'nuf Trek. Mmmm Trek.
Vulcans = Star Trek elves!?!?!? BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

So then, one could speculate that the Simic ability will be called Graft. Thoughts?

Hmm.... Graft, eh? Maybe something that would allow you to combine creatures, like modular? Or perhaps something that would allow you to "attach" an instant to a creature, like Splicing onto Arcane? Maybe something like Haunt, except part of the stats of a creature get Grafted onto another creature?
And what of the Rakdos? It is going to involve sacrificing creatures, of that I am pretty certain. We already have Thrulls; Blood Pet, anyone?

Forecast (??) -=[unconfirmed]=- Graft X (~cardname~ comes into play with X +1/+1 counters on it. Whenever another creature comes into play, you may move a +1/+1 counter from this creature to it.) Hellbent (When you have no cards in hand ~this~ gains ~ability~.)

i concur with you guys. however you may have to discard cards for a lot of the rakdos abilities, or at least sacrifice.

I could see something where if your opponent has no cards in hand, cuz you made them discard them all. And it is possible that you have to discard your ownm hand. It just seems a little off still. Oh well, prerelease isnt to far off. We'll have to wait. I know I'm going to prerelease. Anyone else?

Interesting mechanic... but I must wonder if the translation is at all accurate. It WOULD, however, give a good T2 meaning to "One With Nothingness". Play a weenie army... then discard your hand when it's most appropriate. Odd that they do not gain Fear though.
On a separate note, I'm going to Pre-release here in Ohio. It's one week before the May Day Wedding. I'd like to see us all at the same Pre-release though... so would you consider driving to Toledo and carpooling from there Celest? If anything, it would give more people to watch your back (and your cards), and you'd also have another excuse to meet up with some Troy friends.

Self explanatory, really. What else does red/blk weenie do best other than run out of cards in hand?
