 Here, we can discuss the release of Ravnica. It will be the next base set for MTG. It looks to have 302 cards in it and be diversely multicolored, a la Invasion bloc and uber-powered a la Urza's Saga bloc. Ravnica setlist SPOILERS!! |

I don't suppose you could get me one of that plains in a slightly larger size? It does not quite fit as my new desktop background...
Suffice to say, I am impressed. Who's art is this, and have they done any other cards I might recognize?
Intresting... Miss Razia is a red/white angel... she also has 4 wings...

4: Design rpg
5: Run rpg on Temple

I'm going to the Pre-release event in Detroit on Sept. 25. Think you could up there some how Eun? As far as I know your still not driving but maybe you could find a way. This invite is extend to any one else on Temple but Eun and those living in his household are alot closer to Detroit so I figured the likely hood of them going would be greater.

UPDATE:
the prerelease was awsome. though there were no fat-packs to be found (i'll get those at carmalot anyway, with a discount. i need something to spend my draft winnings on) but i did get a nice shirt with Razia on the back. I wish I would have gotten her but I'm pretty happy with my legandry elf that gives all my white creature +1/+1, all my greem creatures +1/+1 (yeah, nice if you have green/white creature) and makes green white legandry wolf tokens. All i need is mirror gallery and i'll be in business.

I was flipping through a few of the cards the other day, and I must say, I was impressed. At first, I was not sure I was going to like Ravnica's theme, but...
For some reason, I like white. I especially like white when it is being backed by the fires of wrathful purity. The Boros Legion, I am convinced, was especially designed for me...
Yes, that is awesome... I wonder if more guilds are coming out with the second set?

All in all Ravnica will have ten guilds. Ravinca: City of guilds has the first four, then the other two sets will have three each guilds. I'm looking forward to the blue white one. I'll put up the full guild list later.

ok officaly Ravinca is out in stores next friday. guess what. I get the fat-pack on thursday. Love being on good terms with people at Carmalot. I can't wait. Also i'm saving up my winnings from FNM to buy a box.

I am signed up for a local (middle of Dayton... *sweatdrop*) opening event, and I should be getting the foil. I am second on the signup list, so I will be pissed if I don't get it...
In other news, I picked up a theme deck and a handful of other cards. Notible cards include a Razia, an Agrus Kos, 4 Lightning Helix's, 4 Brightflames, and a Sunforger. *happy*

Went to a seal deck event today, and got a few good cards along with the promo. A Flame Fusilard, a shiny Hex, a haunted phantom, and a few other cards.
It was horrible, though. A guy a few seats down opened a shiny Birds of Paradise, and I opened a Watery Grave. I had to pass it to another guy, though...
