There is a rumor going around that when you rez a zombie (possibly with one of the sparkly new Syringe 2's) it looses some/all of their zombie skills. I have read one account of someone who lost all of their zombies skills, and "restarted a zombie because the new one was stronger then my old one".
If this is true, this makes Necrotech rezing a very real way to deal with zombies. Combined with Headshot (knock them down, have them loose their exp, then strip their levels), this could be a serious threat to the zombie population. Strike team pairs, anyone? *grin*
HOWEVER, no one is sure if this was a one time thing, or a new balance issue. It certainly has happened on at least one occasion. It may or may not happen again. *shrug*
On other news, I have five First Aid kits and 2 Syringes. Making my way your way now... Make sure that Mall is barricadded!

Ok, I am at Marven Mall, in South Blythville, currently in the south west block. I am going by the name "Annis".
Where are you guys, and what are your usernames? Also, if you are a zombie, get inside a nearby building and sit tight; I can scan you and then rez you, but I only have 2 syringes and I do not want you to die after you are brought back.

Ok. Here's what I see hapening:
Artemi and eunhathes meet in Marvin Mall to do some resurrecting.
Once I'm rezzed, our travel begins. We have a solid 10 block start over the other group. We go 16 Blocks south then east 7 Blocks. This is from the NE corner of the mall, please note.
Antaeus and Celest, go almost due south 26 Blocks, then south east one. That is the location of the power plant.
I have not yet scouted the plant out, but I am working on it.

*Turns red and throws controller across room* I'm still level 1 because I keep dying and I can't hit anything while I'm a zombie. I get 98 exp and guess what? I get headshoted. Don't worry about a rez... save it for someone who's going to play the game  Dyne |

Ant: I encountered the same problem when I "logged in" to get meself some rezzing from artemi. =/ Meh. Servers.
Also, Dyne and I spoke about this particular problem, and it seems to be more with his machine and less with his patience/skill. I have already made suggestions to remedy the situation. =D
Update: I have been revivified! I am currently hiding in St. Simeons Church in Greentown. I will be art Marven Mall shortly. I just needs some AP now.

Ok how the f*** do you get into the f***ing mall?!
I blasted it with a flare gun I shot at it with a pistol and hit it about 7 times. I used the Upper Left corner and nothing!
So yeah I'm back in the warehouse next to the lower-right corner. Meet me there and we can head south. Unless you all just want to head south once I get more ap.

The easiest way to get into a barricadded building is to use Free Running from another building. If that fails, just hit it with your fists until it weakens, allowing you to get in.
Attempting to get in contact with you now, Celest...
Edit: Ugh. I just died, which is a first time thing with Annis. I am currently outside the Pippard Building, which is a Necrotech building to the North. Hopefully, I can get someone to revive me...

That is possibly one of the best things they could have done for the game. Remember most of the zombies are players who are simply trying to get rezed... In a way its like you hurting your own team when you take 98exp from them in a single shot. |

Free Running. Ok frist skill to buy once I get enough skill points. which may take a while. *sigh* ok so I should just stay in my warehouse, walk around and hit stuff and then go back till i cab get free running. out. I'll see if I can't get into the mall tonight.
Edit: Here Zombie Zombie Zombie. I just want to hit you so I can get some EP. I won't kill you. I promise.
Where are all the zombies?
Edit: Woot! I found a bottle of wine. I wonder what it is for.
Edit: Yeah, I found a zombie, I hit it three times for three damage for a whoping three EP. Let me guess you gain the EP for the damage you do. Great, I'm screwed, not to mention the zombie ran away. Ok back to some building for me. Maybe I cna find some more stuff. You know what would be nice, if you could consume something (like wine for example) and it would give you EP. That would be nice. Oh well, atleast I'm still at 50HP.
Edit: Yep, I found a... bunch of nothing, cept for the wine ofcourse. Oh well I'm camping in a hospital tonight just north of a Tompson Mall. It's call ed St. Alexander's Hospital. I hope the name is a good sign. Oh well, you guys can either come a find me or I try and get back to where I started or I can start heading south. You tell me. By the way I'm in Lockettside. Pray I don't get killed in here, ok?
Edit: Wow, on my last AP i found a first aid kit. Go figure.

Hospitals are great places to get exp. You search for First Aid kits, then use them on wounded people, getting 5 exp per heal (only other people, though, not yourself). You may want to consider getting Diagnostic first if you plan on doing that for a long time, as it REALLY helps out.
STILL dead with Annis. I have been standing here for a few days, only to log in and stand back up. People keep killing me as a zombie... *frown* At least no headshots...
If you would like to help, have one of your characters get into a Necrotech building and rez my ass. I am currently standing outside the Anderson Monument, hoping that they will notice I want a rez. No luck, so far...

EDIT: If you want, I can scout out the power plant on my way there, or I can just meet you guys there. I'm currently holed up in a police station in Shackleville with like 30 other survivors.

I'm heading towards the powerplant now. Though passing through Tapton, there has been NO activity from either side, not even so much as a dead body. I guess everyones still up north.
In other news, Over 5 days Urban Dead went from 58,000 folks to about 90. Wow.
Update: The powerplant is clear. As a matter of fact, its got no less then 3 different groups basing themselves out of it. In related news, I saw only res-lines of zombies on the way across 3 suburbs. I'm going to hit up the forums and see if I can't figure out what the hell is going on. 90k+ people and I've only seen survivors. =\

ok made it a little bit further south. I didn't get very far cuz I did a lot of searching. One the plus side I found another med kit, a pistol clip (yeah ammo) and a newspaper. Any one know what these random items are for?

Ok I am now in Williamsville at the Dibbings Plaza Police Dept. If any one needs a shot gun shell I found one. Then again if some one ha an extra shot gun that would be nice. I'm out of ap right now so I'll wait for you guys to show. Untill then I will go around searching and trying to kill zombies. I still have full HP plus I think 4 medkits. A bottle of wine, a newspaper, a fire axe, a shot gun shell and an pistol clip which i really should load into my gun. Yeah, I need more clip but I'm looking. MAybe thats what I'll do with my next 50 ap, search the police station. Any way, i'm here and waiting.
