Seiko takes a moment a sits cross legged, apreaing to meditate briefly. She then stands with a new detremination in her smile.
"I would think thatthe sneakiness amoung us would be your little friend there. Then maybe Los, but seeing as he made a touch, I think." She looks at him for a second to confirm this. "Either way, I'm not sure if we are going to have much of an elelmetn of surprise. Unless I am wrong about the being a touch, the light will give us away. In that case either some one who feels sure enough should take lead or one who has very good dark vision should take lead a few paces in front of the group, more of a scout that lead. if one on else cares too, I will volenteer." She looks at the others, waiting fro their ideas. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Medical skill check: rolled 14 + Wis 2 + Med 2 = 18. full health. Los's skills should be used in more dire need.
Drevin takes off down the hall, as quick and as quiet as a shadow.
As the others follow him slowly, Trillian looks over at Seiko curiously. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here? I mean, not here, but what are you doing in the Rangers?"
Seiko raises her hand to silence Trillian, silently gesturing, "I'll answer later." She places her hand on the hilt of her blade and listens intently for the oncoming threat.

"I think I've seen a few people. I don't like the looks of this... we'll need to be very cautious now," he told her, before returning to the same point he was before. He then took the group towards a point where the path led to multiple caves.
Arriving at the end of the hall, you can see a couple of men standing ridigledy at attention. They are wearing light armor and have spears, but they are not moving...
Trillian, seeing the men, slides up aginst the wall, trying to stay quiet. With a low squeak, Cheris dissappers into one of her bags.
Los stops, standing still, looking at the rest of the group, trying to decide what to do.
Seiko looks leans up agains the wall and taps on the shoulders of her commades then motions to the group to move back out of earshot. Once the a further away she speaks in a low whisper.
"We have options, one is to try and send some one to sneak in an attack and take them out silently, if they feel they can remain hidden, and if they can take them out silently. If the strike should fail, we rush in." She puases for a moment, "Our other option of course is to is to rush them and hope to catch them off gaurd." She again pauses. "I am mildly sure I could take one of them out in a single strike, but wither I can get there before they notice me I am unsure off. So I lead the desion to you. Personally I could go for either. What ever we do though, they can't escape to sound the alarm."
Trillian looks back towards the men. "It's odd. They... don't look like they are moving, much. I wonder if they are even concious?"
Los gave to woman a hard look. "What, you think they are asleep at their posts? Even if they were, we can't let them sound the alarm. I don't think we would stand a chance if there are alot of guards in here; there are only four of us, afterall."
Trillian looked at him levely, non-plussed. "Ok, so, you want me to slip in and snipe them from here? I'm sure they're not related to you, but they might be to someone else." Cheris was sitting on her shoulder, nodding along with the woman.
Los rolled his eyes, then shot a glance at Drevin and Seiko. Obviously, the two of them would not be able to decide what to do if left on their own. They did both have good points, though...
Seiko thinks for a moment, "it is true that they aren't moving at all, on the other hand they are standing at attention. Hmmmmm, that doesnt make much sense. if they were asleep they would be slumped over." She pauses for a moment.
"Lets rush them, they may be a decoy and if not we will still catch them off guard and have the upper hand. If they do not react then simply move pass them, if so, defend yourselves. Remember we are here to save those taken against their will."
Slipping ahead of the others, Trillian entered the area, careful to stay out of the sight of the others. Watching them carefully, nothing happened as she stepped past the threshold into the room. She stoppped and turned towards the others, scratching her head. "Well... looks like they are just sitting there, afterall..."
She stops, then, as her ears perk up. There was noises coming down the side hallway, echoing down it's length. "Do... we go down this way? Or the hallway that has no noise coming out of it?"
"Hmmmmm. Good question. I'd say the quiet hallway. It is possible that ou men are being held captive there. That or we may find some useful information. If not we can always back track." She walks up into the fork in the hallways, making sure the fake gaurds truely were fake.
You arrive at a store room, pack with all sorts of boxes, bags, and piles of food. In the back is a kitchen area, fully stocked with pots, pans, and a nice spring with water. In it are men of various races, moving to and fro, all with the same blank look on their face. Some are moving boxes or picking out food, while there are three in the back that seem to be cooking. The smell of warm food wafts in from the oven, as someone's dinner is being baked. There is a shut door in the back, though none of the men seem to acknowledge it.
Los stops at the doorway, mouth agape. "What the...?" Trillian says nothing, as she stands as still as he.
Seiko looks into the room and scowls. She looks at the faces of all the men to confrim herself. "These men are under some ones control. They have been hypnotized or enchanted or something, but they are being control by some one of power." she says in a low whisper. "I sure you relize that I am not from the area. Do any of you reconize these men as those taken?"
Trillian looked around the room, examining the crates of food. Los was watching the people carefully, trying to see if he recognized any of them.
"Well..." He started, hesitant. "I think the Builder man over there is a local woodsman, though I haven't seen him in a long while... And..." His eyes widenend as he saw someone come out from behind a line of boxes. He rushed over, shaking the dark skinned man.
"Menish? Menish! Wake up! Come on, man, this isn't funny!" For all his shaking, though, the other man failed to wake from his stupor, and just continued to walk with the box that he had under one arm.
Seiko rushes over and grabs Los and pulls him back out of the room to the others. "Get a grip!" she yells at him in a hushed voice. "Every one of those men could have just attacked you. No matter how docile they seem, people in trances can to strange things." She takes a moment at looks at him strenly.
"Listen to me. That man, Menish, may have once been a friend of yours, maybe your brother I dont know. But right now he is no longer that person. He is a mindless soulless body used to do whatever his controller wants. If the person responsible for this told Menish to kill you, he would. Remember that. We are here to save these men, but running into a room like that won't help any one. You'll either end up the same or dead."
She looks back into the room. "Well we found some of them, but the job isnt over. We have two choice, go through that closed door are head back to the other hall way."
Taking deep, calming breaths, Los slowly calmed himself, trying to not look in the direction of the other man. He shook his head to clear his thoughts."Tha-thanks. He... That man... is my brother. But... Yeah." He grinned up at Seiko, determination clear on his face. "You sound like my teacher, you know?"
Trillian looked towards the others, pointing at the doorway near the back. Cheris was chittering at her, gesturing at the door. "Guys, I think that takes us farther in. I am guessing it is how these men take food to whoever is in charge of this place."
Seiko pats Los on the back. "Your teacher? Well, I guess when you've been around awhile you get that. Just dont let your emotions get in the way, ok?" She smiles at him and looks back into the room. "Well at least we know that the hostiages are dosile." She looks at Trillian. "I take it your little friend has a hunch about that." she looks at every one else. "So then we head into the unknow then. Let's go, but be on your guard."
